No, just used a rotary with pigeon decoys and a couple of floaters and some rockers. It just seemed to be a good day for it.

There was a mix between rooks and carrion's. There was a Magpie included in there as well.

Yea, he was well pleased. He has a real problem with them.

I had a great Weekend! Sunday morning out in a field not more than 10 mins from my house. Set up at 7:30 , the first crows started coming in over the decoys from around 8:00. I obviously had something right for the first time as they were opening their wings to commit from around the 50 yard mark and floating easily into range. With 2 of us in the hide , we managed to clock up 130 crows and 3 pigeons. What a fantastic day! I cant wait for the summer when I hope that I can get it right another time!

I was going to buy one but was put off by a lot of people, the majority of which shoot clays. I now beleive that a lot of them like to spend £1500 and upwards on guns with adjustable comb's and chokes etc. I would probably of been better off with an auto rather than a o/u as I enjoy the rough shooting more. Rough shooters very rarely ask what your shooting with, I think its more of a fashion thing with the clay ground. It all depends on how comfortable you are with laying £2500 on the floor in damp grass or would feel better about putting a £350 gun on the ground. You aer better finding a gun that you feel comfortable with than look good with.

I paid £140.00 for a 1000 Gamebore 32g 6's with fibre wad posted to my door. They turned up the next day as well. At £3.50 a box it saves we waiting till 9am on Saturday morning for the gun shop to open. I could be tucked up in my hide by then waiting for birdies!!!!!

I have ordered off them! The guys name is Charles Bull and he writes for a magazine ( Sporting Gun ). I have had 2000 cartridges from him all delivered v.quick. I emailed my certificate to him. Top Service. Also can give you good advice as to what to use.

I was out this morning for a walk and managed to get 5 Woodies and 2 crows with 20ish shots. I managed to hit a flew clouds as well!! My average suck's, but then again not bad for walking with no decoy's.
