Sorry to hear that Steve, i have only had the one bird visit, I have never known them to be this far north.

Not had a bullfinch in the garden for years Whitebridges,but plenty of goldfinches and greenfinches this year

He was on and off in a flash,i know they are more used to climbing up and down tree trunks,so hopefully he just landed all wrong on the "perch" i don't make them.

i noticed that JDog but thought because of the shape of rest on the feeder he could not get a proper grip ?
