Mate has an 07 plate, and his head went, took head off pressure tested and skimmed refitted, then couple of monthe later egr cooler developed a leak, then water pump gone and battery, i wouldnt advise on one!!!!

I have had 4 300tdi discoveries over the years and all i have had to do on any of them is a P gasket replacement and a water pump, In my eyes the 300tdi is an exceptional engine.

Ha ha i thought that was the make of the mountain bike.......

I just bought some insa turbo saharas for my disco which are mud terrains and was worried about road noise, as i also use it for work, but have to say the road noise is none existant and are fantastic off road.

If your doing the water pump would strongly advise doing the p gasket aswell, as they are prone to weeping and going unoticed.

Hello. I used to do a lot of pigeon shooting with a work colleague about 5 or six years ago, i didnt have my own sgc but used to go and use his guns, absolutely loved it. Anyway just got back into hunting with my eldest son, who has got some ferrets and a couple of air rifles, we have permission on our local farm to go for the rabbits. Every time we go i keep looking at all the pigeons flighting into the woods and really want to set up a hide and start shooting them. My questions are. where do i send my application form, i live in sunderland? Do i buy a cabinet first and fix it securely in place before i apply for my license? Should i go back to the farmer and ask his permission to shoot the pigeons? and will the fire arms officer ask where i will mainly be doing my shooting? Sorry for all the questions but itching to get back into it.. Cheers Justin

Hi sounds like the synchros may have given up the ghost, they can be replaced but box needs to come out and stripped down or alternatevly a second hand or exchange box would be the easier option cheers Justin
