I got a quick question, I have two jills one weeks age difference in them, over the last month or so "colder period" i have noticed one has lost weight, i thought ferrets held there weight in the winter? The other is still roughly the same weight. both eat food that is provided which is generally dry food, and cat type meaty food, Not rabbit, i have offered plentty of rabbit but they are not interested. Should i be worried in this weight loss? or is it a thing for a vet to see?? Gavin

Some of you may think im so cheeky saying this, Im offering a evening shooting with me on a 120acre golf course which has lots of rabbits, unfortuantly most are very lamp shy. I have been looking and considering Night vision but have doubts about Gen 1. So my offer is, if you have Gen 1 night vision and wish to come shoot some bunnies with it and show me the quality at the same time i would be most greatful and you would be most welcome. Im sorry that i cant take more than one person at a time and its only offered if you have night vision and insurance. i.e BASC, DSC, etc The land is cleared for FAC rated Air rifles. ill give them another bell they said it couldnt be used to me but i agree maybe they are not sure of the velocity of these rounds, the cci rounds i have are 2010 fps i know more but not much more than the cci veloraptor .22 hypersonic round.

Just bought the .17m2 barrel for my rifle and one thing i was wondering is between 100yrds and 50yrds will the point of impact change? reason i ask is i know .17 has an almost flat trajectory. And at bisley where i normally zero my rifles, they have no range where you can use .17 m2 or HMR at 50yrds which is what i normally zero at. this is due to the muzzle velocity that you cant use it at there normall .22 ranges at 25yrds and 50yrds ie melvile range. Hello , i have a question i see a few people put pigeon as food for ferrets, i havent tried that before, in the Garden we get lots of pigeon but of the ferral type not wood pigeon, would these still be ok?

Hi thanks for the advise, i would only use one at a time for sure. Is there anyone around surrey area that does do ferreting that would let me come and watch? probably be willing to pay a bit to if that helps

Hi all After some advise please, i have two female jills that are comming up a year old now , i got the ferrets as i wanted to work them, however im being a wimp all i think is what if i put them down the hole and loose them?? I havent bought ferret finder yet but 100% would before putting ferret in a hole. just wondered what other peoples first experience with this was, did the ferrets come running back? loose them? or have to dig them out?? One is on the stealth i have for sale at the moment and thought i should leave it on there incase a buyer wanted it, the other is on my air rifle but isnt for sale until i buy my night vision but i had a mobile bill yesterday of £238 so night sight better be on the back burner till next month. There is also one on my ruger 10/22 but havent decided if its worth selling that or not yet.

I have decided to sell my stealth as i use a Theoben now, i havent modified this at all, in all honesty i havent needed to, i bought it as a 12ft lb rifle then sent it back and had it turned in to FAC version, i think they put a stronger hammer spring in it and a FAC bottle. This rifle is very accurate "willing to put up a target picture on here shot by it " I did however keep the original bottle so this rifle has, 1x 12ft bottle and 1x FAC bottle the FAC bottle is adjustable i belive the new "current" ones are fixed. Included is 1x Stealth 1x Silencer 1x Bi pod 1x Sling 1x Laptop bag 1x Spare bottle 1x fill adapter All parts genuine. This is an FAC rifle and therefore is on the Firearms register which means even if you disposed of the FAC bottle it is still classed as a Section 1 Firearm. To buy this from me it must be in person and you must have space to aquire a FAC rated air rifle in .22 on your firearms ticket The scope in picture is not included in sale unless you wish to pay extra "if it hasnt sold by then". Im asking £300 is that reasonable? if not make me an offer but dont take the iss. Total cost would be £625 new from gunpower.

Ok so you wanted some pictures, Here is scope number 1 , Tasco 2.5-10 x 42 in full working condition, very good condition. Mil dot recticle. goes from 15 yrs to 300 yrds and infinite. ps marks where scope rings go is some sticky stuff which was a kinda tape in the scope ring im sure i can remove this with some alchol. PPs scope covers will be included

Hi all i guess thats what i thought i could increase the power on the stealth but that increases the noise out of it. So i think i will go with the comments i have a tin of the accupell here some where also the powa pell not sure what there like i have tried many pellets over my time i have at least about 10 pots here from lead to dynamic air bullets and prometus pellets. one thing i noticed once i have webley venom lazapell im sure there the exact same pellet as field & target trophy . what would people say is the best for rabbit and pigeon? ie flat head "wadcutter" poined, dombed hollow tip? reason i ask is i always though wadcutter was a hole punching paper target pellet but today i read that there is a new design great for rabbits?
