    Technical Information

    Material: Steel

    Accessories:

    Plastic Storage Case

    Notes:

Competition Bushing Sizing Die -- With this die, the cartridge case is completely supported and aligned with the sizing bushing before the sizing process begins. As the sizing process starts, the cartridge case remains supported in the tightly chambered sliding sleeve as it moves upward while the resizing bushing self centers on the case neck. The decapping rod is maintained in precise alignment by using the internal parts of the die as a linear support much like a firing pin. While the micrometer adjustment of the bushing position delivers precise control to the desired amount of the neck length to be sized. (Bushings are sold separately)

The Body Die -- is designed to full length resize the case body only and bump the shoulder position for proper chambering without disturbing the case neck. It is intenede for use only to resize cases which have become increasingly difficult to chamber after repeated firing and neck sizing.

Competition Seating Die -- The bullet guide to seating stem fit is so precise that the seating stem can actually be demonstrated to float on a column of air. The micrometer is calibrated in .001" increments. It also has a zero set feature that allows you to zero the micrometer to your rifle or favorite seating depth.

  2. Zeiss range finding bins 10 x 45

    Hi

I'm selling my Zeiss range finding bins 10 x 45 and they are just like brand new ones.

Reason for selling them is I'm just not using them anymore so i think they have to go.

here is a nice link to let you know what you are getting

ZEISS Range finders Meeting the Standards of Serious Hunters. Sometimes it is not enough to see your game clearly. Sometimes, for one shot that makes the whole hunt more memorable, you need to know the exact range to your target and how bullet drop is going to effect your placement.

What you then need are binoculars with maximum contrast and clarity, which also provide you with the exact distance to your target and holdover information based on the trajectory of your load. Discover the new Victory RF Binoculars: the world’s first binoculars with integrated laser range finder, premium ZEISS optics, and a sophisticated Ballistic Information System.

  3. Probably a stupid question...

I've only ever bought guns face to face but am looking at getting one which is a bit far away to travel so it would be a case of a transfer between dealers.

Whats involved in the process and how much is the average cost?

    Hi m8

    it is simple to do

go and find a local RFD and tell them you want this gun from this place and he will sort the rest out.

cost does alter from RFD to RFD I don't charge for this service but do fully understand why some do.but it should only cost you about £25 plus post plus if you sort as much out as you can yourself and leave your RFD as little to do as possible then he might not even charge you. as for the other side they should only charge post

  4. Hi

I'm an RFD and i can tell you now that if you have 17 hmr and fox on your license with said caliber then you can shoot fox on any land that you have permission to shoot fox on and it is passed for that caliber.

The person has got it around there neck so don't worry just go and shoot it you are not braking any law.

Just to keep the job right i would make sure you have a singed permission slip from the farm in question on you and you are covered. i would not give it another thought m8

  5. Hi All

my personal thoughts are i would like to think with rabbit and fox that the person offering to take out people would do it as a good will gesture and use it to meet and shear there experiences. I don't believe that people should be selling days but thats just me.

Deer to me are different in that the ground is normally paid for. As nearly everyone knows that deer have a monetary value. If someone is lucky enough to get there permission for free then good luck to them and long should it remain the same.

but charging for rabbit and fox in my opinion is just wrong. not going to get in an argument about it with anyone its just my opinion.

But i all so feel that the hole charging for an outing normally requires more insurance i know one of the insurance company's cover you for taking out clients wile stalking but not sure if they cover you for other activity's, but i am a member of the said organization and could find out if required.

Another point i would like to mention is if i was to go out with someone on there land i would like to see the farmers permission for said person to allow someone to shoot on there land and paying for the privilege.

as most permissions i have seen normally state i give xxx permission to shoot xxx and xxx on my land, normally no mention of a gust. and i have never saw it with permission for a paying guest. as i believe only the farmer/ farmers can give this authorization. and i for one would like to see it before i went out and risked my license and possibly freedom on a few rabbits.

thats my take on it and i refuse to get in to an argument about deer are the same as rabbit as if you can not tell the difference then I'm not going to convince you.

  10. Agreed.

In that case i would imagine trading standards might want a word with him as he is flaunting copyright laws.Teal or any of the mods on here can supply trading standards with his email and IP address.

I would never do that to anyone. and it is not that important just simply solved

  11. Hi all

    just wondering what to do.

I have brought some DVDs from a member on here and he sent me discs that dont play in a DVD player. i have repeatedly asked for his return address so i can return them for refound or for him to send me some that play in a DVD player. He says they play on a computer but i have not got a player on mine and only have a DVD player.

As he will not answer my pms now i am forced to ask on open forum but dont like to do this. It was not a lot of money paid for the DVDs but i would like something of use for my cash.

    So username removed

please send me your address or some DVDs that work on a DVD player as was the deal in the first pladon'ti dont know why you have not responded to my pms as you have been on line a few times since i have sentI'mhem.

im easy which ever way you would like to do it Refund and i send discs back or you can send me ones that play please

  12. Hi

I have been through all this but to a much more sever degree.

what i did was (and there is no 2 minuet fix) was

have the dog in the back of the car in a dog cadge one that limits its view to just looking out the back door.

one that is not to big just enough room to stand up and turn around.this is not cruel its how dogs should be traveled.

so they can not get thrown around in the back, this will just add to the unpleasantness he/she is experiencing when traveling.

so keep him/her in a good fitting travel box

only go on very very short journeys and make shore he/she has a very very good experience after traveling in the car.

like going for a run / walk / dummy work if she / he is mad keen on that.

do this as many times a day as you can.short but pleasurable is the key.

i all so put mine in the back wile the car was still and never went anywhere.

getting your dog in the car all so should be done with no fuss or anxiety from you.

if your dog as a favorite toy or is mad for treats use them to coax him/her in to the car.

far better spending the time getting him/her to go in to the car her/him self than picking the dog up and forcing the issue.

do things nice and slow and just lots of encouragement.

don't stroke your dog when he/she is cowering as this will only make things worse as all ready been said.

just ignore her/him even get in the back yourself will help.

just time and only positive experiences will get him/her out of this.

it can be done as like i have said i have just done it with mine and he was that scared of the car and got travel sick he used to open all his bowels and throw up. every journey no matter how small. he now jumps in and can not wait to get in and will travel to Scotland and back with no problems.

    just time and positive experiences.

  13. So my theory is that at 20m a bird gets up ten more meters to get airborne and safe 30 m shot perfect for 1/4 choke?

Yes in an ideal world it should be fine. but if the bird runs on or the rabbit runs on and your dog takes after it as it has yet to flush then you can soon be out of range.

i don't have a set distance just kinda go with the flow and read my dog. If he picks up on a bit of sent then i slow him down and keep titer control of him.

p.s Don't you think you would have been better off having the answers to those questions before buying it ?

  15.

Not got a pair of old trainers on has he? I used to have a pair that the left foot squeaked like mad :D

yes i bet it is reel funny for someone who has invested all that time and money in to a young dog

  16. Squeaked ?

    just the once ?

    No now this is true

When he casts his dog out to the right there is no problem

But when he casts him out to the left he squeaks

    go figure that one.

rest of time he is ok
