  1. Hi all, My vermin shooting club have a meeting with a senior BASC bod in the next few weeks to discuss their approach to the LAG issue. I'm pulling together a briefing document for the club, including our key lines of interest, I've already picked up some of the issues raised here but any more of your questions (keep 'em clean!) would be welcomed for inclusion... Cheers Geoff
  2. Thanks chaps, accupell appear to be working ok- 8mm 5 shot grouping at 28m, and 33 headshot rabbits tonight out to 40m. Job done.
  3. Great, thank you all; pellet shape: anything but pointed; soft not hard, and I'll have a go with JSB Exacts, AA Field & Accupel over time. And no barrel cleaning either- happy days! UK Poacher- thanks for the Chairgun prompt!
  4. Hi all, Recently acquired an HW100T and getting some good grouping and rabbiting results, but can't claim to have mastered the trajectory at varying ranges yet. I know I'm opening a whole can of worms by asking but... Can I get any thoughts please on best hunting pellets for flatter trajectories (but with stopping power/weight)? When do you use the different shaped pellets- dome vs pointed- or is this a gimmick? Is there any advantage to double waisted pellets? Finally- what barrel cleaning regime should I follow please and any top-tips on the best rod/snake/pellets to use to clean the barrel. Many thanks! Geoff
  5. Absolutely the mutts **tts! About the side lever- an advantage over the 410/510 is that you can't double load the HW100. Charging- I've got the Mk1 and it's hardly the end of the world to unscrew the cylinder for refilling- it's a 2 minute job.
  6. Hi, please could anyone explain to me the coke codes for Browning Invectors- I have 2 notch, 3 notch & 4 notch versions- and not a clue which means which (but may be able to work this into excuses about cartridge:kill ratios ). Many thanks Geoff

Hi all, another new addition to the Surrey host- Guildford for me. Does anybody know of any pigeon guides in the area please, I'm new to the sport and would rather get learning from experts than books. Tvm Geoff
