are these classed as pests ? why the porcupine ?

think it depends on area, was out on xmas eve and boxing day and rabbits were in good nick at a different area, back at syndicate today and the spaniel was nailing them cause they were so weak, this area has had serious snow that hasnt cleared, rabbits are struggling to get to the grub
this is all they can get to
-
i also got a the baikal mp-153, this was my first semi and cant fault it, was bought as a fowling gun but only got to use it once before the ban came in, but have gave it a few cracks at the rabbits and really enjoy shooting it, smallest shell has been 30 grm no.6 and heaviest 42 grm no.3 with no cycling problems, got mine from malmo guns, £530 ish, brand new, more than half price of berreta equivelent.

good do lads, are yous shooting on the sprouts when theyve been lifted or while the crop is still standing ? cheers

Good bag mate. Just one question, do you never skin the rabbits that you give to the ferrets? Any rabbits I give to the ferrets I skin, my theory is that if I gave them the rabbit with skin on then they will be more likely to kill when they are in a hole. Probably makes no difference though.
doesnt make a difference mate, i always feed skin on, sumtimes just give the ferts the rabbits heads, all ferts will kill a rabbit that wont bolt, but only a really hungry ferret will gorge itself and fall asleep, keeping them well fed is the key, that way theyl hopefully just kill and move on
