  1. "The North Regional CPSA Inter-Counties Sporting Championships are coming up at Manchester CSC on 23rd of September -100 targets, registered. 10am to 1pm entry

For those that didn't make a team this year you still have a chance to form your own teams.

Each of the 6 counties in the North Region is fielding a team, (see NR website for 'official' County teams), but the shoot is open to all CPSA members, and any other group of shooters can also submit a 'county' team; the conditions being that they reside in the same county in the North Region, are eligible CPSA members, and the team composition is declared before the team actually starts to shoot.

Seniors Teams will comprise 6 shooters - best 5 scores to count towards overall Team score, but teams are also welcome from other categories, namely Ladies, Juniors or Veterans, in which case the Team will comprise 3 members, the best 2 scores to count towards the category Team score.

Additionally, a team can be made up of any group of mixed categories, to include Seniors, Ladies, Juniors or Veterans in any combination - but the 'team' must also all reside in the same county. There will be trophies for the winning teams, in addition to the normal 'Class' prize money for the event.

And finally, the title of 2012 individual North Region Sporting Champion is up for grabs as well."

If you plan to form your own team please write down the team name and people taking part in the team and hand it in when you book in.

    Good Luck !

  2. The Lancs & Merseyside A/R County Championships will now take place at Fauxdegla Shooting Ground on the 29th July and NOT the 26th August as previously scheduled. The cancellation is due to the Ground's preparations for the British Open Sporting & Sportrap which commence on Thursday 30th August. Entries for the A/R will be between 10:00 and 14:00.

  3. No complaint, just a comment the Simo was good, but I think it would off been better with the mini crossing into the fir's and the large clay dropping, the second one was really getting out there by the time you had chance to shoot it.

    Anywho's I got 5 you got 4 nuff said :P

  4. I enjoyed it, there were no silly targets they were all steady and easy to miss if you weren't concentrating

My only comment would be stand 2, which would of been better with the mini\midi ? close in crossers and the full size the longer bird, so basicly the other way around.

The rain started for us on the last stand and the wind really got up blowing the clays around quite a lot, after the recent bad weather they had the right idea to move into the woods for some cover.

There was a ref on every stand for us, and only one short "breakdown" and not to much que'in

I finished on 82 after making a mess of the stand on the raised platform with the simo going away...

After such a long break from putting on registered ESP shoots at Beveraly they did a great job overall, I look forward to shooting it again.

  5. Turn 3g off that will improve your signal go to - settings - general - network

of course internet access or anything that uses data will be slow, but it will improve your phone signal

all these networks banging on about 4g and they still can't provide a good 3g signal

  6. George Digweed

Shot the Classic today. The most horrendous conditions I have ever shot in. The rain was torrential all day. Shot 136/150. Not bad considering the rain drops on your glasses blocked out most of your vision!
