May be that I am a cynic, but perhaps they've realised that clay shooing is one of the fastest growing sports, and that people new to the sport will pay what ever the price is, within reason.
They now have a large captive market, whereas before it was more limited.
Put simply I think they are just exploiting the market.

The dog jas been exploring its new boundaries and establishing what the territories are.
Once this is established, all should be well, but might take a week or so.
Should live in harmony after that, until the springer becomes frailand then the whippet will re-exert its place as top dog.

NO....its bad.. this is a pigeon watch forum.
foxes should be shot, not ripped to bits by mad dogs!!!
I'm not anti hunting, but there are good ways, better ways and bad ways,
and hunting with packs of dogs falls into the latter cartegory IMHO

I have used the the VDO dayton 500, which is rated but doesn't include camera info, and I found the imput of addressed fiddly.
I have the Jaguar (alpine) nav system in my car which is dvd based, (and has touch sensitive screen and keypad) its very good, but the update dvd's are a rip off at about £350 a throw, every couple of years, to keep you abreast of road changes etc.
I have the origin B2 camera detector which can be updtaed daily or weekly which ever you want through your Pc. The subscription is £50 a year. This and the Roadangel are the 2 best systems going and are both gps based systems.
both also tell you about blackkspots and schools too (which you can disable) and have over speed warnings. The Origin B2 also has an inbuilt laser detector for mobile speed traps.
Hardly any police forces now use radar, will nearly all using laser technology.
B2 good for gatso, truvelo, specs average speed camera and Ds2 devices.
TomTom seems like the economical way forward if your car doesn;t aleready have the satnav.

Feed them through the winter only with stale bread and nuts
Just a note. that you should avoid giving bread to birds, aprticulalry in the winter/spring months as it just swells up in their tummies, makes them feel full, and provides very little nutitional value.
Best to do as johnskevena does with the nuts.
Favorites include sunflower seed and peanuts and fat balls.
Cheap nuts might not be bird friendly. some have a fungus on them which can kikll the birds. Best ones say RSPB friendly on them,

me and the wife are both keen birdwatchers and we feed birds in the winter, when there is hard weather and in the spring.
We have a three bird boxes for tits, sparrows etc and different feeders for finches, tits etc.
The only thing i hate is magpies which have a nastty habit of ripping the chicks out and leaving them on the lawn. The maggies don;t even eat them.
This is why I have always kept an air rifle. We have been over run with them in our housing estate over the last 6 years or so. Last year I took 9 out, but so far this year i have just had 2. Most are taken during April May June when the songbirds are nesting/hatching.

That sounds technical bindi what exactly is it?
How are you getting on with the HW95?
HI Sniper,
got the HW95 stripped down, stripped the paint off the barrell and re-blued it. Will be working on the cylinder blueing and the trigger problem tonight.
I'm going to sand the stock right down to take out the home made carved pattern out, which might be successful or a complete failure.
In the meantime I'll keep my eyes peeled for a newer stock,
How's the missus and the rabbit?
Best wishes
