Cheers fortune. Yes I dont mind a glass of red or 2.
Ps nice dogs.
Probably likes the bottle as well.
Try pushing a barrow through standing wheat like this. OR driving a vehcle through it. Anyone found doing it through my crops will find their rear end on a one way trip through the gate.

Hi guys iv tryed using a barrow to get me pigeon shooting kit across the field but when it's to muddy it's just no good.
Any ideas.

Stubby nice hide mate. How many nets are you using.
cant view the attachments, but why not just set up where the pigeons are?, have put up a hide in middle of field plenty of times, they still come in, specially if you get set up before light
Nice hide stubby how many nets. ??

Sound good to me. I don't mind a bit of roost shooting.

1/2 and 3/4 for me.
Don't get wrapped up in chokes. Iv seen people changing chokes coz they think the clay there shooting is to high. Then miss and blame the chokes. Lol.
If youre shot is in the right Place you're going to hit what you're shooting at.

Lots of decoys. But wait for the big flocks to break up.
Make sure you're decoys are all facing different directions. When birds are feeding they are all walking around. If you watch the only time real birds face one way is when they are just about to take off and fly all together.
Good luck.

Well done 57 is a good day.
Especially in early feb.

Fantastic 105. I think on rape it's fit or miss at the moment. Ive got big flocks of birds they just not breaking up.
-
Don't buy flock jackpyke decoys. The flock comes off in a few weeks. Iv used plastic for years and done ok. But use dead birds if you can. good luck.

Hi guys and girls
As anyone had any success with the pigeons yet. I know it's early in the year but I can't wait for the big flocks to break up.
Cheers (hertfordshire)

Shot birds in cradles on the fence or in the hedgerow. Terry that's a fantastic idea. Where did you find out about doing that. :-)
-
Just a question, not being toooooo contentious.
If the pattern works and attracts the birds, why do you need to add to it?
Have you ever tried stting shot birds in cradles and placing them on a fence line or hedgerow so they look a little like sentry birds?
Sorry to high jack Cos, but you know what I am like.

Hi ya. I'm a newly past B.a.s.c shooting coach looking for 410 and 28 bores.
Iv been contacted by a school about starting to teach the kids clay shooting. And my 410 isn't up to it. As iv got a few guns and two traps to bye at £1.600 I just wanted to ask if you would sale your 410 for £300.

I think Most fixed chokes guns are 1/4 & 1/2.
I just like to use 1/2 & 3/4 it folds then at 40 yards dead in the air. And that's what we all want. So good luck and keep them dropping.
