I would like to try to assist you , buy your first gun from a shop , look for a lincoln 12g over and under 28 to 30 inch long barrel with a single trigger , these are great starter guns , the next stage up is a spanish made lanber these are great guns , then trade up to a browning 425 or berretta 686 multi choke , (stick with fixed choke quarter and half for a start) It is all a bit confusing at the start but get a lesson with a clay coach for £50 its well woth it , I am not an expert but this advice would have helped me at the start.Use guntrader on the net to guage the price you should pay for a gun , and target sports of bolton for bits and bobs , anyway I really hope this helps you out.P.S semi autos are personally not my cup of tea , and side by sides are better hung on the wall as an antique!
