For still water fishing anything black and green usually works. I've had some luck with montana patterns. In most trout fisheries i find a small goldhead nymph can be effective- probably because it looks like a trout pellet Quinny.

By far the best shops in Florida are the Wal-Marts- massive places with aisles of hunting and fishing gear. There is a Wal-Mart in pretty much every town. If you want cheap camo i suggest you at least give it a try. Sports outlet sell that sort of thing but they are not as numerous as Wal-Mart. Quinny

Hello, I was wondering how to find myself land to shoot pigeons on. I will soon get my license and am keen to get into the sport- having only shot clays in the past. My question is how do i get into contact with a farmer who would be willing to let me shoot on his land? I live in Surrey, in the suburbs so there are not many viable places which i can think of nearby. Any tips to get into contact with someone would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Quinny
