at last my paperwork has arrived have missed the 243 I was after , hoping for a tikka but other 243s might be of interest, any 243s available

thanks for all the answers and offers so far, still reading and researching

it was mostly because the only 243 ive used is a tikka synthetic and got on very well , good grouping , but also I don't want something worn out so history and age is also important

I am still doing research of tikka 243 SH prices cant afford new , didn't realise they were so pricey but still looking hard is there much difference between T3x light and a T3 light 243

Had my 5 year visit today from the firearms officer, and we were discussing deer control here (my 34 acre xmas tree farm) when I receive my FAC renewal ( 2 / 3 weeks) I will be able to get a 243 plus mod/scope , he was quite happy to grant it , Ive had some experience of using a tikka 243 and got on very well with it Just wondered if any one has a tikka 243 synthetic available in a few weeks time , im in Kent he was saying boar have been shot 5 miles away, so might have to up grade if they arrive here

not sure if off topic is the right place but trying to find out about which u caller to buy , should I go for one that I can download onto , where can i get the calls i need from or is the card one good , will need to buy speakers too because there is a motorway nearby /

looking for a u caller with speakers/remote or perhaps which to buy as the market seems to have so many types

I have a ladder trap and wondered if there was a way of calling a magpies in , can ucaller type do this or is it down to trapping only

Hi well I finished work and there was a rabbit eating my lawn , just too tired to do anything so had a cup of tea opened the post and thought if he is still there, well he was, opened the kitchen window very slowly took aim and one dead rabbit and very little sound from the gun will be doing a lot more testing though. Iv'e got some antisplatter and will apply some soon

Well its cleaned out now , tried a couple of shots I can hear the breach clicking and doing its thing, defernately better will try more when out hunting next week thanks for the help and advice , I will see how it goes before considering a sak or sako

I have a .22lr with a parker hale mod marked mm1 I find it a bit loud is there a much better one , or can I open my one and make it better for a subsonic load

Amazon do the fox button caller £4.75 all in , there are two button callers, rabbit squealer and preditor warbler, going to try the rabbit squealer
