I need a pair of binoculars but with only about £100 to spend what do I buy im happy with second hand but there lots of new ones under£100 are they any good looking for perhaps 10 x 50 area any guidance here, main criteria is a sharp picture thanks in advance

I always carry this kit , and have used it many times, it helps to put the plug in at the same angle the screw came out

getting a bit deep but yes I would agree the mod was to blame and the shop admitted it was off before it was sold to me after I brought it back It is a 1 in 10 twist

got some sako and federal now to try took the mod back and got a refund , this was the last of a bad batch which had come back , but why was it sold to me in the first place

to fill in the rest of the story , I had some ammo come with the gun but it was not connected to the gun , the guy was a part time dealer and threw some ammo in to sweeten the deal anyway this is what I have been using and not getting anywhere, no consistence at all , having read about various things affecting accuracy I decided to take the new mod off, just in case and guess what seemed like things were looking better the last 3 shots of 17 were all within 1/2 inch at 150yds centre of my cross the ammo that came with the gun was GECO 105grm and now I have to see what the local shop stocks and see where that leads , see if any of the makes mentioned are stocked

the point of asking is to try to use the best , most accurate ammo to hone my skills for a tight pattern before I use this new gun for its purpose I have been" practicing " with guns 50+ years

I need to buy some .243 ammo for deer 100/250m all I know is have to be soft point but what load and make and possible cost

if its just for your garden then I cant see that you could use a shotgun at all in my case im an xmas tree grower/retailer and can show damage to my crop and its really part of my job to protect my living I net my 6 cherry trees against deer and birds but have acres of trees unless you have more area than a garden I doubt you would get a licence but it would be up to your FAO they have inspected and passed where I need to shoot

As I understood it AAA shot could be used on deer if they were damaging ones crop but have to be shot on the same land as the damage was done or have written permission from the owner, mountjac can be shot humanely any time but when I asked the FAO if it was legal he said no and then asked me if I would like a 243 which is how I got my 243, had to be careful what I said after that some years I suffer hundreds of pounds worth of damage I could only find the 1991 act it may have been changed

been reading about Howard Leight electronic sport but cant get them for the £35 on amazon maybe because I don't have prime , anywhere I can get them for that , and what about the zohan / mpow / awesafe for £20 something are these any good , I have a 243 and mod and use it in the field only will they be useful for chainsaws and machinery too

its an 18 x1 thread , I was unsure but has been confirmed bought a short one now , but I understand a wildcat fits over the barrel are they any better would still buy one at a decent price if they were better
