Alright chap, I'm an avid air rifle hunter myself (bsa s10) also based in Sheffield but have recently lost my shooting partner to another country. I'm always on the lookout for new shooting permissions so if I hear of anything I will be sure to let you know

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was only the stock that was changed on the different models, that and the magazines were updated to alloy ones on the more recent guns.

New they go for about £150.

They are a good gun, my only dislikes about them was them being single shot, the height of the scope above the barrel, the hammer noise and the feeling of the bottle I felt wasn't quite at the right angle. They do need a bit of tweaking to get them shooting consistently, also it's worth dropping a BSA barrel in. If you have any questions about them feel free to PM me.

I think you might need a shotgun for a pigeon shoot fella. I'm in sheffield also, if you find anywhere to shoot pigeons with an airgun please let me know!

I must say the ratcatcher too! Cracking bit of kit and very cheap compared to anything that would give the same results at under at under a few hundred quid. If he shows interest in the sport maybe consider an AA S200.

A meet of some kind sounds like a great idea! Unfortunately I have no permissions as yet but I'm hoping one will turn up sometime soon, soon as it does I will be sure to let you guys know.
