I’m only actually guessing that’s 27mhz is the frequency, I googled the number on the receiver and the only thing that come up was a receiver for sale abroad somewhere, I’ve Emailed Rastar for advise but there in hongkong so not sure I’ll get a message back.

What's in the black box, cannot see anything that resembles a chipset?

I think that’s a circuit board to control the horn and lights ??

What is on the neon green sticker, with small RC cars it's normally a small round sticker with the frequency number written on it.

If you're feeling really mad you can modify/get kits for DeWalt/Makita batteries to make these run a little spicy 😂

There’s not much on Google about this board ! The only thing I’ve found is that’s it’s 27mhz.

I’ve seen them conversions on YouTube 😂

Not without seeing the car details but I had exactly the same situation and ordered a universal one from Ali Express - was about a tenner. From memory you need one that comes with a new chip, you will find the old chip close to the motor usually under the seat - the chip should have a code on it. If it's anything like mine then it's a simple job but you have to tune the remote to the chip and the instructions are usually in very basic Chinglish.

    cheers

That’s great, I’ll have a look this afternoon

    cheers mate

  5. Morning

ive been given a RC car for my lad, he’s to young to be able to drive it him self but I’ve noticed there’s a switch for RC mode but I don’t have a control , I’ve looked online but these cars have been discontinued, I’ve also seen universal control on eBay and Amazon ? Has anyone got any ideas what control would work ?? Cheers

  6. Well I didn’t take any advise haha I hope I’ve done the right thing !

Ive always had Agile welly’s for year and could walk in them all day in winter, I didn’t realise Agile did a walking boot ! I’ve seen a pair online with great reviews so I’ve took the plunge and bought some Altavio Mids, they  were only £98 and I can return them if I’m not happy with them,

    cheers Chaps

I won't touch scarpa ever again .bought a pair a few years ago .they were light and comfortable  but let water straight  in (supposed to be gortex  think they were lying  ) and the sole were totally gone within 3 months never seen wear like it . They were scarpa mavericks . Total rubbish .

Cheers mate I’ll keep that in mind, I’ll have a look at oex boots as well

    cheers

  8. I know it’s been done to death but I can’t find any recent ones,

im after a pair of walking boots £150-£200.

Must be easy to maintain because I’m rubbish at looking after things. I don’t want big heavy things because I’ll be using them for walking the dog in summer, I don’t need extreme weather boots just water proof for grass, I’ll use my welly’s otherwise.
I’ve seen a couple of old post about brasher boots being good but the latest reviews on Trust pilot are shocking.

so a good midrange boot that’s good for winter and summer ? Is leather the easiest to maintain ?

I looked at Altberg boots but wasn’t sure if they where water proof

    Cheers

  9. I’m thinking of changing over from 30” to 32” barrels

If anyone’s got one there thinking of getting shut off please get in touch.

id like it to be a sporter with a trap forend if possible, I think they did a 525 with a trap forend a couple of years ago.

ive got a Miroku mk70 that I can weigh in if wanted and I might weigh in my Maxus because I don’t use it much

    Cheers

I remove and clean the bottom firing pin on my Browning and Winchester guns every 6 months or so. By doing this I have avoided any misfires. The amount of gunge that gets on the bottom pin and its housing is incredible.  I wonder how many sets of new pins have been fitted to people's guns when they were not actually required, due to muck causing misfires.

Yeah it makes you wonder, they’re not cheap either at £35 a pop just for the pin. I’ve kept my old one anyway

  11. It’s a vehicle mechanic role but at a big company so I guess safety would come into it ? I’ll have to think of a situation this has happened, I’ve been told to use the star effect. I feel like my heads going to explode !

  12. Hi, it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here but I’ve got a interview on Thursday and running through some possible Competency questions

Does anyone have a good answer for this question ?
