  1. My company will soon be looking for someone to join us starting in our finishing department. This will involve print finishing and helping out in the warehouse. The company is located in Hungerford, Berkshire. The money isn't fantastic but if there is someone after a job in a secure company with the chance of progression then please P.M me. It is a good company to work for and as I said are very secure in a very tough time.

  2. With great sadness my wife and I are considering looking for a good new home for our much loved golden lab. We have a young baby and are finding looking after the baby and having a big powerful lab a bit too much. He is a fantastic dog but just too strong to be walked whilst my wife also has the baby in his buggy.

He also loves to swim and roll in mud and puddles so getting home and cleaning him whilst having the baby is proving to be just a bit much.

My wife is due to return to work full time soon and I just feel we won't then be able to cope with him and the baby. We don't want to neglect him so it would be best to find him a new home where he can get the attention that he deserves.

We are not willing to put him in a dogs home.

He is used to having at least an hours walk a day so we would like him to still be able to have this. We live out in the sticks so would want him to go to a home out in the country and not in a town.

He is in perfect health. As I say he is quite a big boy and very powerful. He is very friendly but also very protective of his home so makes a great guard dog.

We got him from a rescue home when he was 5 1/2 months and he turned 5 years old last July. He has good recall, knows sit and down but that's about it I'm afraid. He hasn't been worked but is a quick learner. He is great with children and other dogs.

He is a loyal dog and we will be very sad to see him go.

If you are intrested and willing to give him a good and loving home please contact me. Also, he had the snip about two years ago so now doesn't bother bitches.

  4. Three shot semi-auto. Brought just before christmas but not yet used. Before I got the gun it had been stripped. The stock has had the old varnish removed and polished, the working bits have been sonic bathed and oiled. Would make a great pigeon gun. Cant say how it fires as I've yet to fire it myself. Will come with a copy of the instructions (of the internet) and a camo gun slip.

    F.T.F and S.G.C. £135ono. On the Wilts/Berks border

    P.M for more pictures

  5. I now have the set prices for the stalking on the estate near Basingstoke, Hampshire. They are very busy at the moment so cant promise you would shoot this season (ends April) but it starts again in August. If you P.M me your details if you are intrested I can pass them on to the guy who will be doing the stalking and he will contact you.

-£70 for the outing, morning or evening to include the chance to shoot a Muntjac or Fallow or £120 for both outings.

    -£30 per extra beast.

-Option to purchase any beasts at dealers rates.

-You will be asked to shot at a target first and MUST have valid insurance (BASC, etc)

  6. It's a difficult thing to decide what to do when your in the situation. Muntjac are very difficult to get hold of when hurt. Most people wouldn't think, ah yes I could wack it one with the tyre jack, just because after hitting something you tend to be in shock. If I were going to use a knife I'd want to go for an artery as this would be the quickest death. If it came to it though and you could get hold of it, cover its head to calm it and do what you believe is the kindest and quickest thing to despatch it.

  7. We've got Sika here in wiltshire!

There is going to be a meeting this coming wednesday to set prices, days, etc so I will put up a new post when I have the info. I was beating on the estate today and saw some lovely groups of fallow and four munctjac. There was also two white fallow in one group, they have apparently been on the estate for about three years.

  8. I dont think these people are interested in the management of the rapidly increasing population of muntjac by charging that amount.

If you are trying to make a living from it you do still need to charge though. If the population was so big as to be a problem I'm sure it would be free.
