  1. Price drop - £1450 I live a couple of miles from the Stalking Show in Staffordshire.
  2. Unfortunately it’s looking like my current pheasant syndicate is likely to fold this year based on losing part of our land. Which puts me in a position to try and find what’s likely to be a needle in a haystack/none existent but here I am. Ideally I’m looking for a local farm shoot in and around Staffordshire but willing to travel a bit. I’m looking for a weekday shoot (I work Saturdays) which obviously gives another layer on unlikeliness! If anyone knows of anything please drop me a message. Thanks, Chris
  3. I actually don’t know if it’s steel proof, I’ll have a look when I get In tonight. I’m afraid not on the RFD, I haven’t really got the time.
  4. Time to move this on. I don’t use it as i tend to pick my a303 up. It’s got 3 chokes but I’ve miss placed the key. It’s in good condition I could just use the space. happy to send more pics via WhatsApp. Located in Stafford ST16
  5. Only used to finish the season due to my regular being in the gunsmiths over Christmas. It’s in excellent condition, there’s not actually a mark on it. Any questions let me know. Happy to send more pics via WhatsApp. Located Stafford ST16 12g 30 inch Invector plus Cased Both size Inflex plus pads 1/4 1/2 and 3/4 chokes (flush) Trigger lock £1550
  6. As it stand I have had transferred the Cole Brothers and Denton and Kennel onto my license. Stuck them both into the gunsmith for a once over… everything looks good. Need to have them fitted mind. I’ll be ordering some Titanium flush chokes for the XS Pro. I should at this point probably be sorted…. Assuming I don’t get tempted by anything for my Birthday that is.
  7. Top ones only a Denton and Kennell but shoots lovely. Has 26 and 28inch barrels too.
  8. Called round my Dads to have a look at these. He’ll be happy to transfer. Top one is what i learned to shoot pigeons with (my grandfathers) middle is passed down from my Dads Uncle, bottom is what I watched my Dad shoot with for 30 years. All have their own piece of nostalgia with them.
  9. Did you go for Teague chokes? I wanted Briley but can’t seem to find titanium ones. I absolutely like the top one l, I fact top and middle are a bit of me.
  10. It is starting to look like it’s going to be Browning which is not a bad thing!
  11. I’ve just been having a look at a few. Agreed, they look the ticket. Thanks
  12. It’s not just for others to see, it’s for me to see and appreciate too. I’m pretty confident that I can find a gun that fits, shoots straight and appeals to me aesthetically too. I’m sure I’m not alone in appreciating a quality shotguns appearance.
  13. In honesty my Xs pro hasn’t let me down on any game wether it be driven or decoyed. I shoot it with 32” barrels and have added quite a bit of counter weight to suit. I guess the main reason is adding to the small growing collection and to scratch an itch. I enjoy the selection/debate stage of a new shotgun as much as the picking of the final piece. I’d like to have a piece that is fitting in the field and traditional to a degree. In short I don’t disagree with your points but I also have to have a “believable” cover story when I walk through the door with another gun.
  14. This is on the list. I won’t lie, I’m looking for something a bit different when I pull it out the slip. But that being said… I can’t get past the fact that this will undoubtedly fill the exact void I’m looking to. I also know I can get one brand new in the budget. So I’m with you.
  15. Luckily I have a few of my fathers, I did see a match pair of Westly Richard’s on gun trader last night
  16. Hi all, Whilst considering what driven game gun to purchase for the forthcoming season I’ve come across a couple of guns that I’m wondering if anyone’s owned, shot or handled in the flesh; Chapuis super Orion 35 William Powell Perdix Some back story on what I’m after, I shoot an Xs pro for practically all of my disciplines and I love it. It’s just too heavy for a fast day on the pheasants and doesn’t look particularly in keeping in the field. I do have a few others on the (not so) short list. But I’m really after a nice handling and nice looking gun. I don’t want to spend much above £2.5k. Thanks in advance. Chris
  17. I rarely change my chokes, but I use my Browning XS Pro for most of my shooting nowadays. I picked up some flush Invector plus choke tubes a few months ago, really to take the glaring orange band that’s around the factory extended ones away whilst on the pheasant shoot. I’m just wanting to make sure that there’s no issues swapping the titanium extended for the standard steel ones? many thanks, Chris
  18. I’ll take £675 for a quick sale. Chris
  19. Browning 425 12 Gauge Its time to sell my 425. This has been a brilliant gun, it’s light and a real pleasure to shoot. It’s in great condition and has an excellent piece of wood on it. Only selling as I now use my XS Pro for really all of my shooting. 28” barrels, comes with a pair of Teague 1/2 and 3/4 extended chokes and 2 flush in the same constriction. LOP - is around 14.75 but will measure when I get home. I have plenty more pics but it won’t let me add them all. So please feel free to message me. looking for £750 face to face sales only. Located inStafford ST16.
  20. I have this exact gun with the exact same barrel configuration. I’m only down the road as well. Small world! These are brilliant guns, always gets attention on shoot days. Good luck with the sale. C
