  1. Hi all, After shooting this morning I gave my gun barrels a good clean with Browning Legia spray as I had run out or Parker Hale 009. I noticed that there appears to be marks at the top of the barrels (not the choke end) that look like scratches or possibly even residue. Is this something all barrels get or is it something that can be cleaned off like a residue, I have had the wire brush that came with my cleaning kit down the barrels and it still doesn't want to shift, I've only had the gun a little while and never noticed it before. The gun is a new Miroku MK38 Sporter if it makes any difference. Cheers.
  2. They only have the new version unfortunately.
  3. Anyone know where I can buy last seasons Musto Highlands jacket online (preferably at a fantastic price)? I much prefer the pockets on last seasons compared with the new ones this year. Size L if it makes any odds. Cheers.
  4. Better not, I've not had the Mirook long.
  5. Thanks Anni. How come you sold the MK38, I absolutely love mine.
  6. I am currently using some Invector + chokes (flush fitting) in my Miroku MK38 Sporter but am wondering about flush fit Teague chokes. The longer, protruding style Teague chokes simply don't suit my eye, I know they're supposed to be great etc, etc but I just don't like em. What I'm wondering is if there would be any benefit in getting some flush fitting Teague chokes, are they actually really any better than the standard Miroku/Browning Invector + jobs? Thanks all.
  7. Hello folks, Just this weekend I had a go at using Trade Secret Rapid Oil on my gunstock. I can't really see that much of a difference yet, do you really need to keep adding to it with small amounts time after time? The finish is pretty good when you tilt the stock against the light but seems a little hazy when you look straight at it, I suppose it just needs more work. Also I noticed when I did it that there is a small section on the stock just above where my thumb sits where the grain is lifted a little, what is the best way to get rid of this, fine sandpaper and then re-apply some rapid oil? Would that work ok? Thanks.
