  2. Hi All, Just thought I'd share with you one of my weapons of choice for Rats & Feral Pigeons out to approx 20 yards. I use a tuned Crosman 1077 C02 gun fitted with a power adjuster (my own design) that cranks our approx 24 shots per powerlet 8-9 FPE. I use Crosman .177 Ultra Magnums (10.5 grains) in it to maximise the energy transfer into the quarry. As this rifle is a 12 shot repeater (not a true semi-auto ??), you have 12 shots on tap as quick as you can pull the trigger. It's ideal for when the action is fast & furious (eg Ratting or Clearing Feral Pigeons), is very pointable, accurate & lightweight. I have also fitted it with my own design of silencer to tame the bark from this great little C02 gun Cheers, M PS It's also a cracking plinking gun
  3. Sounds like your seals have gone matey
  4. Hi There, I have a number of Delrin silencers for sale that I have amassed over a 10 year period. They are all approx 150mm long x 24-25mm diameter & are Black. They are all drilled to suit a 10mm barrel & were all used on a silencer test rig I built. If anyone is interested in one, I can re-machine the bores upto 16mm on my lathe (I am an ex toolmaker) to fit other barrel sizes or convert them into 1/2" UNF threaded. Most designs are based around the old tried & tested baffle / baffle washer arrangement (similar to a HW or Logun set up) Looking for £25 incl PP (recorded) each Any questions, please contact me on the forum. Take Care, M
  5. For short to medium range hunting it is fine when tuned. The seals only perish if you don't look after it (always use lubricated powerlets & you'll be fine). Cheap, rugged & very tuneable (have got mine set up with an extended bolt, power adjuster & heavier hammer spring & it does 10.5 FPE at 15 Celsius)
  6. They are ok, if you want a very impressive hollowpoint try .177 Norica Killers. Have never seen a pellet deform like it (at 20 yds on a knockdown target & with a 9FPE Crosman 1077 (12 shot repeater rifle) they flattened to 11mm diameter x 2mm thick). See weblink to photo below http://topguns.ru/gallery/user/s/5/5006267...63ed114261.jpeg Accuracy was ok, with a fast fire 12 shots (in 4 to 5 seconds) grouping in 1" I tuned my 1077 purely for barn clearing when the action can be fast & furious. Cheers, Matt W
