  1. Hi guys i was just wondering if any of you had tried Microlon Gun Juice it is a new product on the market. About 3 weeks ago i met the chap who markets it i had a good chat with him and told him the problems i was having with my .204 Ruger; the main problem was i was having to re zero after cleaning? My rifle did not respond to a fowling shot like some do, anyway to cut a long story short i went ahead and treated the barrel as instructed, wow what a difference it now shoots fine after cleaning in fact it shoots better all round.

  2. As some of you may well be aware i managed to snap the stock on my cz 452 american clean in 2 a couple of weeks back and someone on the hinting life recommended #### to me and then they got in touch with me. The stock came back yesterday and what a job they have done for me.

  3. I/we would like to buy or even borrow a Ruger 17 hmr trigger guard. We are in the middle of a custom re-stock of a Rugar. The old stock was a little plastic thing with its own built in trigger guard so no use, we ordered a new one from the importers some weeks ago and have been told said part is on back order. We are keen to finish the project. I know it is a long shot but if you dont ask you dont get. Even if we could borrow one for about 3 days just as to let us finish the inletting and we can start the oil finish which takes weeks, then hopefully our ordered guard will have arived. Any Ideas or thoughts guys.

  5. thats a beauty mate.how do you find the 204.i had a mate bought one and was always to tie up for a shot.never got round to it.

I love it mate, I shoot with chaps who shoot 22/250s and there is no way they can out shoot it, it’s a calibre you need to shoot to appreciate.

  6. Interesting what are the charges like? Looks a bit pricey for what I'm after but may drop them an email...

They are better than most if not all gun shops and good quality work. E mail them and get a quote. smile.gif

  8. Nice looking gun and a decent sounding repair outfit :)

    What did you have done?

I had the barrels London blacked , polished the bores, stripped and cleaned the action, re checker both forend and stock and finally a nice oil finish.

  9. The shot gun i have always wonted is Union Armera which is a live pigeon gun and now i have it.

My reason well i like S/S It is one of the few S/S that shoot just like an under & over. You may say well just shoot an Under & Over but there is something about a nice S/S that i like. But then that’s just me.

  10. I would just like to say a big thanks to Microlon

. i have just finished testing my .204 Ruger rifle after treating it with your Gun juice the results were amazing this has always been a problem rifle after cleaning having to re zero. Not any more it was point of aim every time; i shot and cleaned 3 times with the same result, this is a great product.

  11. The CZ website sells cz 452 .22 LR plastic magazines but the shipping costs are mad if you are wanting just one item...

how many folk would be interested in clubbing together and doing a bulk order?

I reckon that depending on numbers they would work out at about a tenner each (plus uk postage to buyer)

post replies on here with how many units you want and I will assess whether it is a worthwile exercise

I have a five shot mag you can have for £5 if you wount it.

    Cheers shootingcharley.

  12. When I bought my steyr .223 I got a T8 but found the gun far too front heavy as most of my shooting is done on foot, for the last few years I have shot without a mod but have found its starting to damage my hearing-I take ear plugs or defenders but don't like wearing them all the time and then when a shot presents itself I generally take it rather than protecting myself :good:

So I have been on the lookout for a moderator that is light, not too bulky and due to another blanco seed being sown cheap

Nick (Gully on here) recommended I go to country-pursuits to see a moderator they make, I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship and finish and the fact it was half the price of most others so bought it immediately but won't be able to test it until Saturday.

Its 140mm(5.5") long and 39mm wide which is 2mm wider and the same length as a SAK rimfire mod and weighs a mere 275g, made from aluminium with stainless baffles there won't be any corrosion issues and if anything is damaged/burnt out then spares are available.

I will put some rounds through it on Saturday and maybe try a side by side with a T8, Whilst I don't expect it to be amazing due to low volume I'm not that bothered as long as it tames the bang enough to stop my ears ringing and doesn't break my spine when carrying it around.

I will let you know how I get on at the weekend.

    How much are these mod's

  13. Obvious choices would be Mendip or Avalon, a mate of mine bought some good/inexpensive cart's from Mole Valley who are closer again?! Don't recall what type or even what he payed but after ringing around they were well priced and had good stock, (was a while back now but worth a phone call).

Thanks for that i will give them a ring. :good:
