  1. I'm in Stourbridge near Kidderminster. Local grounds are cross guns in kinver, HWSG near Tardebigge, cannon near halesowen, forehill near Hopwood, Clent shooting ground. All have different things to offer, it really depends on what suits you. Happy to give advice on any I've mentioned

  2. Mine are cleaned after every shoot. Anyone who had seen the proof house disasters would know that these days most problems with shotguns is down to chokes, either damaged or not seated correctly etc etc. Realistically how much longer does it take to clean the he gun when doing chokes as well?? I'm happy to admit that I'm a little anal in my gun care but I shoot a lot and my gun is mint! I took the CPSA safety officer course last year and they had some horror stories regarding chokes and gun care.

  3. Hi all and thanks in advance of help

Could someone give me a ball park figure with regards to CPSA classifications? IE, based on shooting 100 targets how many would equate to a 'A' or 'B'class? I know that once you are a full member your registered shoots are sent off and calculated based on adjusted averages etc I just wondered on the basic numbers

  4. My father in law and I both bought brand new 912's approximately 4 years ago as we were both new to shooting and the budget was right for our first guns. Straight away my father in laws had problems with mine working perfectly. The problems continued with his gun despite going back to be repaired, eventually after some time his money was returned and the gun was destroyed. My gun after 6 - 9 months of use never once giving any grief then started having the exact problems that had ruined his gun! Long story short, I got rid as soon as I could. After the experiences we had,I can honestly say that I wouldn't recommend a Wembley 912 to anyone

  5. My CPSA membership has ended and i am looking to renew. The sole reason for joining was for the insurance, is there a better deal to be had with any of the other associations?? A mate of mine has said that the CPSA is good (certainly price wise) but there cover DOES not cover legal costs in the event of a claim. Having any cover is all well and good should you have to make a claim or indeed have a claim made against you but paying your own legal fee's could bankrupt just about anyone!!

    Thoughts or advice please.............

    Thanks in advance

  6. Can anyone shed any light for me.......................................

At last years Midland game fair i watched a few guys having a go on the Browning Rabbit mania set up and decided in about 3 seconds that this year i would be taking my gun to have a go!!

I have read in one of the mags (not sure which one) that the rabbit mania is being set up at Oxford gun this month open to all for £12 as long as your using a Browning product, loan guns are available.

    Finally on to my question.........................

Is it a browning users only affair at the game show???? (fingers crossed it isn't!!!)

    Many thanks in advance

Should sell for over £100 im looking for £60 ovno. See attached for photo of one made up (mine!!) I can get more they are new and boxed. Dont really want to post due to size and shape of the boxes, i think it would cost a small fortune. More than happy to deliver locally (im in the west mids)

  8. I have one and am more than happy with it. Put countless cartridges through with no problem at all. With regards to some of the comments passed on this thread..........................

Built to Webley and Scotts spec by none other than "Hatsan" they have a lot of probs.

Just buy a Hatsan better gun and guarantee

    Alan

They are not made by Hatsan and that post makes no sense. You critise Hatsan then say buy a Hatsan its a better gun

You DO NOT have to have the gun serviced every year, its every 3 years and that is really no bad thing

The gun is nicely balanced, a nice plain action not covered in crappy engraving like other cheap guns trying to look flash, more than acceptable woodwork, comes with 5 chokes, case and a warranty lasting forever as long as you have it looked at every 3 years. It mat not be a Purdey but it aint a bad deal!!
