Any shared drain is the water authorities responsibility fact.
Also, did you know that if you have rainwater that goes to soakaway then you can get a refund, check on your bill and see if you have been paying needlessly .

Must be getting old,i read title as 2nd hand shotgun

I swap between sxs d/t and the semi auto through to the o/u s/t, they all fit me perfectly and come up to the eye like a dream, gun fit and practice mounting the gun the same everytime is the secret, even if you spent money on having one fitted to you, its all still in the mount.
Have been caught out going from o/u s/t on pigeons to the sxs on pheasant and forgot it was a double trigger.
Gun fit, right load, blot out bird and be infront and stay in front, wish I had this advice years ago.

Squirt the terrier or throw a rattle bottle at it and shout NO,have no more reaction than that.

I did stumble upon this in a forum somewhere and was close to doing it until i read that it can be very harsh on the wood so decided not to. Would you soak the wood or just give it a quick scrub?
Give it a good soak.Half fill a bucket with warm water/oxiaction and scrub, towel dry and leave wrapped to dry naturally .
I have done this to one of my guns, went all through my usual routine and was ready to apply the finish ,but not entirely happy with staining in the wood, found an American guy washing stocks ,so raided the cupboard and trailed some oxi action, the wood came out like it was brand new sent from the factory and 100%improvement over the way I do stocks and is now the only way i do it.
It also has good results on the action all metal parts gleaming.
Wood did not warp/split/go furry etc, just looked like it did when it came off the moulding tool, new.

Try this one for cheek, mate put his mobile phone up for sale £150, it was in perfect condition and less than 12 months old, it sold and he sent it off registered and signed for and well packaged, 3 days later the guy contacted him saying the phone was damaged and did not work, he said he was returning the phone and wanted a full refund + postage.
Ebay rules being on the buyers side my mate agreed and made the refund, the phone arrived and to his horror the glass had a crack from corner to corner and a large dent on one corner and generally in a poor condition, he tried turning the phone on but it did not work.
He then realised it was the same make and model but not the phone he had sent, there were two months of phone calls and emails without joy, in the end my mate got so frustrated he gave up and vowed never to use Ebay again, that was 4 years ago.
Another one I know of involved a perfectly good working laptop where the buyer swapped his faulty screen for the good one and asked for a refund saying the screen was faulty.
It’s a case of seller beware on Ebay.
Same type of scam happened to me,sold set of rock sliders...….agreed to refund...……..turned up...…….not the ones I sent out🤬

I agree about the electrics, most on there are not needed but even my transit has traction controll, abs, hill start, blue tooth hands free etc etc etc. I think they would have been better to have just fitted what was needed and spent the time and money making it as good as it can be. As for being a good hard working vehicle time will tell for the vehicle and if land rove produce a basic pickup or van etc at a more sensible price
Transits, secure as a tent and lets just skip rust prevention, good old ford.Thanks….
Really like the new defender 90 and I also like the jaguar f pace, cant afford either so hey ho.

Not much to go on,from the description it may be the soil .Could go on a multiple choice of possible answers without pictures.

Same here.Fed up with scammers its a regular thing and is the ebay norm.
Back pain?
in Off Topic
Posted
Had a bad back when I was younger, crushed a nerve and just suffered for years until my then teenage daughter jumped into my arms shouting catch me,we both fell to the floor and a loud crunch came from my back and the pain went that I didn't even realise was that bad till it went.Am now very careful with my back.
Also had a neck ache/head ache for years that was real bad some days, like plastering a ceiling looking up would be agony for days after,i had a bad reaction to anaesthetic and it took six hospital staff to hold me down, when I did come round the pain in my neck was way more than pain from the op,10 years later after many visits to the bone cruncher and pain, and a new osteopath who massaged my neck with her knuckels and pain went instantly......10 years.
