  6. I have been told i am asking far too much for this combo so lets see i paid £245 5 months ago it has been used sparingly and only had 1000 pellets through it it is in mint condition (except for right side of stock which i repaired a small dent )with all paperwork ,receipt etc.so i will reduce this combo to £160 posted.Surely a bargain at that. http://photobucket.com/albums/f104/Easty44...urrent=PIC6.jpg G:/

Roblade,I have been reading through the link you sent me and adopting the breathing skills and have learned a few new positions as well though i struggled to take up some them(not very bendy) Thanks for the reply to my original question 1 of 5,I thought the reviews would be a bit biased(spelling).I will wait and see whot develops over the next couple of months or so and if i am accepted as a full member i will decide then what to spend and what on. Thanks, G

OK,Thanks all,I think for the present time i will keep on practising with my XL until such times i am accepted as a full member of the club i am attending and start shooting in comps and see how i get on,as Roblade says i think my XL in .22 will not be efficient enough for ft comps to compete at a reasonable level but for now i will just keep paractising away with the XL till i feel i have mastered my breathing technics etc. Graham

    Logun Eagle

Snakebite, I understand what you are saying but here is what i have been led to believe,There is not a class for .22 in field target comps but there is for HFT comps,I went along to a club on Sunday and after shooting away at targets between 15 and 30yds i was offered a shot of a S400 and managed to hit the farthest target at 55 yds twice in succession before handing gun back,i then tried to hit targets at 40 yds with my own but really struggled ,so down to me i thought,I practice at a farm near me and have noticed the following,up to 25 yds i am getting decent grouping but beyond this they are all over the place,The guys at the club said it was probably due to kick of springer as i can group above that with a pcp, what are your thoughts or am i being told p%!*h. G Btw , i still want to keep the XL for practising and hunting at farm.

    Logun Eagle

Hi Folks, I have just been to my first club meeting and was well impressed that i cannot wait till Sunday to go back,The only down side was that i now realise my BSA lightning XL is no use for ft etc so i guess i have wasted some well earned cash ,most members had AA 400s and i had a shot of one and was well impressed,so i have started saving for one already and will just keep the XL for plinking at the farm.I was reading one of my mags last night(Air Gunner)November and read an article on a new Logun gun called EAGLE,i thought the review was excellent and liked the look of the gun also but does anyone out there have one that can verify its review as accurate. G
  20. BH, I bought the Lightning XL after reading up on both and my decision was purley on weight,The 97K was quite a bit heavier but a really good gun but so is the XL.If it is for hunting i would recommend either but if for field target etc don,t waste your money as i wish i had saved up more for a PCP (Air Arms 400),but still love the lightning for plinking and hunting at my local farm,I have had it for two months now and put about a thousand pellets through but always clean it after a plinking session. If you were interested in it i could do you a good deal but not too bothered either way. G
  21. BSA for me as i thought the Weirhauch (97k)was a bit on the heavy side,i bought a lightning XL and delighted with the quality.I also fancy an AA 410 as my next gun. G

    BSA Super Ten

Hi all, I have been talking to a workmate recently whom i found out has over ten guns between him and his son,I have also spoke to someone who knows him well and says he really looks after his guns,My question is this,He has offered me a BSA Super ten (MK1)with Scope for £275 and has told me it is in excellent condition with only a small indentation on the stock, are they good guns and is it a good price? G
  23. Roblade, I have been using Air Arms Field after trying Accupell and Milbro caledonian which was supplied with gun,I have been using a rest i made ,but not bad groupings in the kneeling position as well (perhaps around six within 2" and the odd **** shot outside of this. PS don,t really know the capability of this gun till i have had it for a while. But i guess it could be good if i can stop moving about  G
