  1. They are 22-23ft/lb capable in FAC form, however mine is at current legal limit 12ft/lb. In FAC form, they are the BEST FAC spring gun IMO, with the Theoben Eliminator being best Gas Ram.
  2. My Mrs thinks I own a gun shop! Basically I'm using my .17HMR sooo much, I don't even bother taking any of my other guns out with me, so no point them collecting dust!
  3. GENUINE MILAGE! no joke, less than 500 pellets, I do not get time to shoot this gun, it is so accurate I would like to see it go to a good home, this is one of the TRUE greats. It has a lifetime warrenty with Air Gun Centre so when you need it servicing I can get it sorted. The rifle is 100% MINT, and I mean NOT A SINGLE MARK ON IT. Gun with sling & swivels: £200 The above, with mounts and Nikko Platinum Scope: £250 Would prefer a face to face deal, however if you want I will take the rifle to airgun centre and let them professionally package and post it. No offers or swaps please, not willing to take any less for the rifle.

I use this stuff in my landrover and at home so the Mrs can talk to me when I'm out shooting, but now she just tends to shout abuse so it has to go!! http://tinyurl.com/b4if & http://tinyurl.com/b4j2 & http://tinyurl.com/b4j4
  5. BLimey! £40 more pound until it hits it's reserve. Looks like somebody is going to get the cheapest nightvision Gen II+ in history! rjimmer, you can't even import Gen III or IIII stuff from the US at the moment, and with UK prices you could probably get yourself a nice sportscar for the cost of a gen V!
  6. OK lads you had your chance it's now on ebay! Get bidding you may very well get yourself a bargain! http://tinyurl.com/a8w9
  7. Yes I did do. You will see rabbits out to 150 yards, 300 - 400 yards with an additional IR filter. I also saw foxes with it. This is Gen II+ so a serious piece of kit.
  8. ATN MO-42 Gen 2+ Night vision spotter, it was £645 plus I paid customs £129 (20%), making total £774. So say £500, seems fair?? It has been used twice, yesterday being a second time. It's boxed, 4 sets of batteries, 3x & 6x lens, carry case, full instructions and video cd. This baby will see a long way!! I spent way to much on a new PC, and now I have to get rid of a few toys :-(
  9. Item back for sale, anyone still interested?? Walnut thumbhole stock. Moderator & 3 mags A very accurate, quiet, light-weight and fast handling rifle in minty condition. Usual FAC rules apply, please. £360 + post to your RFD

    fac help!!

The longer barrel does help to stabalise the bulet slightly, but anything over 16" velocity starts to tail off. I would imagine the heavy barrel to be slightly more accurate at longer ranges. However for 'hunting' use, all the anshutz and Sako's are more than good enough, it's only when you want to start going mental on the range you will notice the differances I would imagine. I know what yuo mean about the weight, the 1710 weighs about double my xiv, but is great for long range shots from the landrover A Sako, with cutdown barrel, and PES silencer would make quite a tool

    fac help!!

The Sako is more accurate at longer range, the xiv is lighter with a nicer trigger.

    fac help!!

Unfortunatly they are not cheap, they are made to your sizings and mine was £180. You can have them in any colour, thick, thin, whatever you like. Just see the add for PES in the back of GUN MART.
  13. Main problem with .20 is lack of decent pellets, however I thing that situation is starting to change...

    fac help!!

Hiya, the barrel has to be threaded, they then slide over the barrel and screw on. Extremely quite!
  15. Looks like you got the hang of it Cool dogs!
  16. Probably, I went to most of the scooby meets before I crossed over to the dark side and went the Evo way  What part of the coutry you from?
  17. Just press the IMG button when posting, and type in the address of where the picture is e.g http://www.gayicons.com/bigboy  Like this:

    fac help!!

It's a PES 'over the barrel' job. Only adds 2" to barrel length. Extremely quite. They are like reflex, but better made IMO. You can get them custom built to fit any gun.

Anshutz (pic of mine below) or Sako, cooper are also good but LOADS OF MONEY. As for best budget, would have to be the CZ. My Anshutz 1710 My Anshutz xiv
  20. Depends if the sydicate is over shot. I once went on one where there were about 20 people in a bush all shooting at the same bunny!! http://www.country-breeze.co.uk is a good place to look.
  21. Also for lamping using a shotgun may upset the neighbours, use a silencer airgun if you dont have an FAC, or FAC air / rimfire if you do / are going to.
  22. I don't advise leaving the bunnies alone if you are doing this as 'vermin control' for the farmer. On my pest control farms I shoot them all year round!
