Gone a bit quiet over the river too. Managed 7 birds sunday & not 1 had any food inside their crop, loads of laid wheat a few bits of old barley stubble. Anyone have any idea WHY? Cheers

Good point Mark, I think you need a food hygene certificate for preparing? Anyhow i managed to find a taker for my pigeons, it was 40p in feather frozen, then 30p now 20p. I'll keep them in the freezer utill the price goes up! It's not quite stock's & shares! Cheers

Hi, Good thought, called a butcher in Tavi & they said you need 2 rooms, 1 4 plucking 1 4 drawing, too much red tape. I have done some ringing around & found an outlet for decent numbers, 30-35p each in the feather. My freezer is full! Is there many birds oner your way? I have some farms over there but not had a chnce to check them out yet. We probably won't get enought to sell this weekend........ Hey ho. Thanks for the reoly.
