  1. Hi I am a student from Elmwood College and I am studying Gamekeeping and Wildlife Conservation. My course finishes in June 2011 and I am looking for employment on a low ground pheasant or partridge shoot. Alternatively, as many places won't want to employ as late in the year as July, I am also looking for anywhere I could find some seasonal work for the end of summer through to the end of the year, before finding a permanent job at the start of next year. I will consider any relative work but would like to gain some experience working on a pheasant shoot or with deer so either would be ideal. Any options or recommendations would be greatly appreciated and considered.

  4. Hi I have recently acquired a BSA Mercury (not sure what mk it is) from my father and was wondering what sort of maintenance would be required for it as it is around 25-30 years old and although hasnt been used much has had no work done on it. Was just wondering what sort of upkeep I would need to do on the rifle. Also what sort of price would I expect to recieve for this rifle? Thanks
  5. Hi I am a Gamekeeping student at Elmwood College and I am looking for some land to shoot my air rifle on. I am 18 years old, compitent with the rifle and use it safely. I have a basic knowledge of vermin control and am available to shoot on Friday afternoons and weekends. As I said I am at Elmwood college so any area around Cupar would be great, alternatively any area around Crieff/Perth is also ideal. I would be willing to complete any casual work in return for permission to shoot. Any opportunities would be appreciated. Thanks
