That's a really good bag of ferals mate, the farmer must be delighted with you!
Did you decoy them or just find some sort of a flight line? The reason I ask is that when I go out to deal with ferals I usually take the air rifle and shoot them as they come into the buildings.
The field you can see my boy in is littered with old wheat heads from harvest time and their on it like mad, the adjoining field is rape though and this is worrying the farmer a bit. so to answer your question we decoyed them..

Had to get stuck into a serious flock of Ferrel's for a farmer today.
So me and my boy and my pal(who has let me share the permission)and his boy set up and too ends of a large field and the sport began.
The wind made the usually easy Ferrels a bit more sporting but with that said we still ended the day with 143 and all the local lads with ferrets are very happy......
here's a couple of photo's of our share of the day.

What big loads did you put through it and what was the recoil like mate
A friend had given me a couple of 56grm 0 super magnums just in case i ran into any bears
didn't notice any extreme recoil...but i was caught in the moment a little bit...

Thanks everybody, the guns a Fabarm Waterfowl and i would recommend one to anybody.

This is my first ever goose...very happy
The pigeons didn't show this morning but as we sat quietly in the hide i could just hear honking coming towards me...
i had a couple of cartridges in my pocket with a bit more kick for just such an occasion and these were slipped into the gun just in case the honking came
close enough for a shot...
Im not sure how many birds there was probably 8 or so, but as they came over my head i singled one out and fired both barrels...my bird folded in the air and crashed into the tree's behind me....leaving a 47 year old school kid jumping for joy...lol...enjoyed every second of it.

Went for a walk round a new field this morning, and my first shots were a left and right... squirrel followed by a pigeon...
It got me wondering what unusual left and rights that others may have shot...? so let us all know if you have a story to tell.
