ive got two hobs and two gills which a seperated every ones each to there own i have only every used hemp nets which are hand made by myself or my dad if there are looked after hung after after use to dry out they dont rot and can last for ever ive probably got 100-150 in use at the moment. however if money is an issue then buy nylon try and use the heavier plys as the dont tangle so easy. As food goes dry food can suppliment a diet now and again but try and not chop and change there diet i feed mine shot woodies one a nite with the occasionaly half a rabbit between two each nite.

lucky shots has nothing to do with it if you zerod your rirle to the correct distance and you shoot in the right place luck has nothing to do with it if you have to rely on luck to shoot then you shoudlnt be shooting a rifle simple as!!! rimfire rifle is capabale of good clean kills even at 120 yrds with the right bullet choices but majority of shots with be taken at shorter distance as you should be usimg your field craft to draw the fox into you people who want to shot foxes at 2 300 yrds is simply ridculous how do you know thats a fox clearly at that distance and were to aim and shoot thats lucky distances!!!!

you can kill a fox clean up to 125 yrds with a .22 rimfire with stingers but otherwise 22 hornet is a great calibre for foxes

get the polecat in them mate good polecats are hard to find however ive got a few which i use aswell as gingers albino they all work differntly i used to know an old boy who only bought ferrets that would bite ha ha
