Percussion Wildfowler £395 7 Bore Shotgun Private Seller Used - Average Condition York, East Riding of Yorkshire Other, -, -, - barrels Description A few bit's and bobs for sale here, my small collection, First up is; The large percussion gun is a huge 7 bore wildfowling piece, legal to own as it's antique and obsolete. It's got a cannoned barrel with silver banding to the action and an engraved duck. Made by Hodgson likely Lincolnshire or Ripon, made in 1850 ish, it weighs around 14 pounds and has a 42" brl, functions as it should, well used, but an honest example with a strong action and original, still has the original ramrod also. £450 The old de-act shotgun in the photo is a 12 bore and is there for scale only. Fias £125 12 gauge Shotgun Trade Seller Used - Very Good Condition Harpenden, Hertfordshire Over and Under, 3/4 Choke, Full Choke, 26" barrels Description A quality over and under built in 1974 by FIAS in Italy for the uk and marketed by Gower ltd. This top quality sideplate is not to be confused with the normal boxlocks at around this price. A feature is the fine relief scrolled engraving to the action. The barrels are 26" under a ventilated 7mm rib, with a 14.5 lop pistol grip. FIAS built the Medalist for Browning, a single trigger entry level gun; this is the quality version at an affordable price. I bought this gun in a job lot so it is priced to sell at £125.00 ( due to a very slight repair to the forend, which could be easily improved.) A bargain! It has a 600cc bottle reservoir,24” barrel with sound moderator. It is fitted with a quick fill valve and a pressure gauge. It’s in very good condition and my reason for sale is that I have turned 79 and no longer have use for it. It comes with a 12round magazine and also a single shot tray which slides in to the magazine housing. Whoever buys this weapon will not be disappointed with its performance. I’ve had people phone me asking me to drop the power. This is a nice option for anyone that wants a walk up 'poacher' style double barrel 12 bore without changing to a side by side. 28"€ nitro proofed barrels with fixed ½ and ¾ choke and 3" chambers under an 8mm raised, ventilated matt rib. The double trigger scalloped action is nicely engraved with hunting scenes of gundogs flushing bird and a good fit to the pistol gripped stock with a standard LOP. It has a slip twixt stock and pad to easily extend for the taller hunter. It fits in a holdall, duffel bag or under your Barbour when crossing roads, just don't take it into Barclays!
