Thanks Demonwolf, Picked up the Tracker today complete with Tasco Golden antler scope (dunno if it's any good or not but seems fine to me.) It's output is 11.5fp when last chronographed, I have no reason to disbelieve him as he is a family friend with a house full of rifles. Had a quick shoot and it felt good, balance and weight were nice. But best of all it only cost me £20 and an old blank firer I had. I'm proper chuffed with it. couple of pics My link

well decision made for me, Pulled out the old rifle today and it was covered in rust, Tried to remove with some white vinager and managed to strip off all the blueing. What a muppet I hear you yell but that act of stupidity has forced me into getting a new rifle woo hoo. just need to figure out which one now and I'm laughing, Checking out the Tracker tomorrow. bizzarely my garden seems to be loaded with wp and cd's it's a sign I tell you

The reviews I've read online are pretty good but they are for most. If anyone has any experience with the tracker I'd appreciate your feed back as I'm proper green to all thing air.

Doh !!!! My optomism has started to fade. Didn't think of golf courses tho so thanks for the tip. The letter that I've been sending does cover pests rabbit, rats etc. Also I send with it a s.a.e with a consent form but I think you are right and getting off my bum and knocking on doors may have to be the way forward. Been offered a webley tracker .22 with scope and silencer for £150 good deal or keep looking? It's in good nick

Just to make you aware I have posted letters to numerous farms and am awaiting replies. It's just this one field I've found that is teaming with woodies and I don't know who owns it

Hi guys, I'm new to air rifle hunting but not new to shooting, Ex squaddie that has fired more guns than I can count. Just after a bit of advice really. I've decided to start doing a bit of hunting I have a rifle but it is old and I'm unsure of it's power, it is accurate enough for the job but should I get it tuned up to near the limit or should I just bite the bullet (no pun intended) and buy a newer rifle. It's an Xisico xs-b3-1. Although it is a cheap chinese rifle it is well put together. also some of the rape fields my me don't have any farm buildings near by, What is the best way to find out who owns them to seek permission? Not meaning to sound idle but haven't got a clue where to start. Thanks in advance for any help Nobby
