  1. Im thinking of having it done on the government grant scheme but some one told me dont do it because it can affect your house price (ie reduce the price of your house!) what i want to know is whats the pros n cons of this insulation?

Forgot to add my house is solid wall no cavity and has the very nice victorian red bricks so am a bit unsure if it will spoil the aesthetics of the building and once its started theres no going back.

  2. its a starlight arrow from starlight and paid in full with card over the phone

every time i call i keep getting fobbed off with

waiting for parts it will be 2 weeks 4 calls now and have now been told end of march

Dont ask for the money back DEMAND IT!

  3. Why would an intruder casually just go for a dump in the middle of a burglary? He's 100% guilty, he knows it, the public knows it, but will prob get away with it because he can afford the best legal team.

  4. How handy are you?

I used one of the nut and bolt type swivel studs, threw the nut part away, drilled through the end cap, cut the stud part to length. Put a pilot hole in the end ( bit that goes through the cap),

Once you have it through the cap you flare the end with a small centre punch to stop it pulling through, attach your sling with the swivel attachment,

Cost about £4 and about 1/2 an hour

Just make sure that when you tighten the cap that its not locked up against the magazine rod, if it is you might have to cut a few threads off the magazine rod, but gradually, it's better to have to cut it twice than to take to much off in the first place,

I have had 2 done like this with no ill effects

    :shaun:

Good idea shaun might just give that one a go thanks for the great tip

  5. Here here

I never joined the military even though I was a Cadet Sargent in the Army Cadets and that's all I wanted to do (think I was to short?) but neither has anyone taught me how to manage finances, I worked that out for myself with the voice of my father in my head, 'If you want something, save up and buy it') 1000's of ex serving people live lives dealing with debt and finances correctly, I think it is an insult to those people to blame it on the Military careers they once had.

All of the people in the 'show' had months, some years to get there affairs in order whether that was to pay the debt or arrange other accommodation, they all ignored the letters they where sent so all paid the price of having a 2 hour eviction notice served on them.
