    Hi everyone,

     

    I am looking for someone to give me a guesstimate price for a cambelt

    change on a Clio Sport 182 2.0L 16v (54)

     

    I am told to get the water pump done at the same time.

     

    Any help/advice would be great!!

    Hi LB you are more than welcome to pop over anytime and have a few rounds with mine, cannot fault it since I had the bolt reworked, excellent value for money workhorse especially with S&B on top.

     

    If your flexible we could have an evening at Charlie, from time to time I have a ******** to shoot over from the sunroof of the Def. :P

    My budget is £1000 so after much soul searching down the pub I have sort of settled on a CZ527 @ £700 new leaving me with enough change to buy a quality moderator that can be used on larger calibres later on.

    No i have actually always been into the early ways of the colonials.. I have brain tanned hides, made snares, punk and char clothe, i can throw just about any knife, hatchet or Axe, and know how to live well from the land.. As a boy i wanted to be a Mountain man... But eventually settled into a life of Porn..

    It depends. If you plan on dropping one fox for each shot you make then go mad and get the best - a box of 20 rounds ought to last you a long time.

     

    Winchester ballistic silvertips are the nuts, are in good regular supply and group like nothing else out of a packet.

     

    I hate zeroing and can't be ***** with all the nancy setting up malarky - it's just dead time to me. So I went for one round, zero'd in and have left it. I stock piled these Winchesters before the last ammo price hike so couldn't tell you what they retail at now. It does get painful though if you fancy a few rounds at rabbits or down the range.

     

    As MC said, welcome to the world of center fire and throwing 50p and £1 coins down the range / field with each bang.

    Hi All,

     

    Another one from round the other side of the pond:

     

    I see that Land Rovers seem to be very popular in the UK. They are pretty readlily available here in the US but they have a reputation for being unreliable and needing lots of costly maintainance. Reviews I've read talk of new trannys at 40,000miles or "they're great if you can budget $10,000 a year for repairs". How to do you all find them? Is this true over there? Is it just that they send the bad ones over here :P

     

    Just to be more specific, we only have 3 models available here: The Discovery, Freelander, and Range Rover. There are Defenders around but they haven't been sold new here since he mid 90's. We also have only petrol models as well. The diesels aren't sold here either. :)
