Thats about the only real down side .other than lower shot count obviously.

I love my fac airs .and nearly  always pick one of them up if i have propper pest control to do ,over a sub 12 .

I do use my subs ,its just that they are a bit more recreational use now .

    Go for it .

i agree with you Stu , i often take my fac airranger out when i could use my .22lr rimfires

because the fac air is more fun to use and is deadly because the airranger is fitted with a match grade

    barrel.

  4. I don,t know what your shoots are like , but some of my shoots are quite big and

open, but not suitable for rimfire use because of layout , i,e roads, footpaths ,

this is where i use my fac airguns  ,a airranger .22cal @37fpe  for ambush shooting a kalbrigun cricket bullpup .22 cal @27 fpe,

Sub 12fpe pcp,s are more than capable of taking out squirrels ,i am thinking of getting the new Kral

NP02 airgun in .177 cal as my squirrel gun its a bargain at around £350-00 .

the first ten orders get it at the above price .

This is the one that cheeky chap Clive Ward is trying to knock out to punters for around £600. You have to admire the nerve.

of clives product, just out of interest to see what they are like

  8. I own and shoot both the LGU and a tx200 both in .22 cal now the lgu is out the box

the tx 200 was bought from a local tx fan who owned several tx airguns infact they are his only airguns

this tx i have is so smooth its a pleasure to shoot, but the lgu is also a great airgun, pellet on pellet at 30 yds  i would have  a job to decide which is best, i love shooting them both as i do all my springers.

  12. i have owned an ar 5 and the xl9 , the ar 5 is heavy but an  excellent airgun.

Ripley airguns are hand built and are beautifuly made,

they cost a lot but are imo worth the money.

  13. Great gun the hw100  and also the NS-wolf is a great piece of NV  gear i have been using nite site nv since they  first came out , i find if you use shooting sticks i/e i use primos tripod sticks  it makes the head up shooting position much easier to deal with  and makes consistant accuracy much better

good luck with the new combo and enjoy.

  14.  my self I use mostly .22 in fac air my two most used fac guns are an airranger .22@37 fpe and for ambushing from a hide

or just sitting in the hedge  a cricket bullpup .22@26fpe I use  a nitesite wolf & for closer range the ns -viper,

I shoot off primos tripod sticks which makes using the nite site a piece of cake.

Well the airarms 200 .is lost when it comes to stock fit (terrible imo.) And its a single shot so no fast reload .and its not regged and has a flimsy bolt and scope mount naff trigger. .there are lots to stop me from ever buying one .

  16. i have used the primos tripod trigger sticks since they came out, since i use a nite site wolf Nv unit with

its head up screen , using the primos sticks it makes it very easy to use, infact i use the primos sticks most of the time  very reliable ,never had any problems so far  great kit imo.
