  1. i live the other side of the tamar brifge near callington and have some farms to shoot over. i am only 15 however, if you could drive over and would not mind me coming along... i need someone to take me as my dad has lost interest and even though am insured and have a shotgun license and shotgun, i am not allowed to shoot alon

i'm not sure if this is helpful or not though...

  2. thanks a lot for all the advice! it's sooo frustrating using an air rifle instead of a shotgun as i use both but only a shotgun with my dad as i am not old enough to be allowed to shoot alone. in the past i have sat in my hide with my air rifle and watched pigeons float around my decoys within shotgun range but not land, hopefully with this advice they will land.

    thanks a lot everyone!

  3. Shame, I don't live down there (Yet!!!!) as i'd take you up on it. If you have the permission and your safe, why shouldn't you shoot.

I live in hope of retiring down there in the future. Love Cornwall, best county in the country by far, fresh air, great scenery, lovely friendly people. Shame it takes eight hours to get there from Suffolk.

What part of East Cornwall do you reside in?

I live in a small village called trevigro near a small town called callington which is near liskeard. shame you're not coming down for a while yet! and yes i am a safe shot, not a very good shot though!

  5. Hi im george, im new to this forum and am only 15 years old. i own a shotgun and certificate and love to go shooting, i have two farms on which a have permission to shoot over, the only problem is that i am not old enough to go out by myself and my dad is not very keen on shooting anymore so we do not go out very often. is there anyone in the east cornwall area who would be willing to take me out decoying? i would be happy to just tag along and not shoot to gain experience.
