OK thanks for thatThey only fit 18.6mm Optima barrels and the only 686s to have them are some earlier Silver Pig 1s and 688E EVOs. Later versions of both use Optima HP chokes which are not interchangeable with standard Optima chokes. Beretta barrels are always stamped with bore size and choke type.
About 15 years ago the 686 White Onyx was fitted with Mobil barrels for the UK market but everywhere else they carried Optima barrels. It's just remotely possible that 1 or 2 these made their way to the UK.

Lady on the phone your license has been sent to the firearms manager but did not know why
She asked me did I put in for another gun I said no
But I did ask for a ammo increase would this be the case

Will soon be picking up a 525 and want to change the choke to the extended knurled end type
So many out there teague / midas / briley etc which are the best

Berretas were good but the browning just had that nicer feel

Hihello, just been to D and B guns near thame, they have a summer event on tuesday 20th 4pm till late clay shoot/ barbi /and shops open for demos,
I was up there a few hours ago been handling a few 687 and browning 525 and made up my mind its going to be a browning 525 30 inched they also had a nice browning 425 as well

hello, i have a 525 light sporter at 6.5llb 28 inch and multi choke and made in Belgium, shoots well with 28/30g, never shot a beretta , just noted shauns post so i will check out, oh i sent the warranty card to Belgium talking of japan am looking to do my last bucket list holiday, a trip to japan and hope a visit to the factory
