I find my self knackered.
And I am only 31 :(
i know the flavour... and i'm only 37... me thinks the office job is not making me any favour....
-
Just make it clear for everyone, the pay rise promise was £200 a month after tax... don't think the bloody gym membership worth that much....
-
Are these issues really bad ot can be sorted?
It can be sorted ... but that's time and money... personally i gave up after couple of months of ownership... and i bought new

Is this offer of gym membership to go in company time?
It would be worth at least
1 hour training session
+ 20 min changing time
+ 30 min traveling time each way
= 2hr20min time off from your working day.
You don't have to go to the gym and could go shooting instead
Good luck
No chance in company time mate, that would be a whole different story..

It is a good price , considering the rifle itself is over £700 when new... but... the asking price may reflect some issues the gun might have... and there are loads of known issues with the R10 MK2...

Brilliant pics mate! well done!

Congratulations mate! all the best to your whole family!

The first question I would be asking myself is is he gay. If he is then I expect he would like to see you in shape and tight shorts. If he's not gay then he's banging someone he shouldn't be.
Hope that helps
He's married , with a 3 years old boy...
if he mentions anything about your weight this can be treated as a grievance and you can take them to court over discrimination in the work place! I doubt they would offer this to a fat lass!
i was thinking the same at some point...
tell him he needs the membership more than you do as you spend many ours out in the field , now show me the money fatboy .This works everytime or just pukker up and take the membership
Actually he's fatter and younger than me...

Be polite, but firm.
Let me repeat the above.
It's very easy to speculate on his motives, but they are not your concern - all you want is the pay rise, and to spend your money as you see fit.
If he throws a strop, then his motives will become clear, and time to put the feelers out for another job. Never, ever burn your boat until you have a better boat to board.
Been there, and moved on. Never regretted it.....
Best advice so far... thanks !

Maybe he wants to promote you but only wants good looking athletic people around?
I'm the operations manager mate, there is no where to go from here in this company ...
-
He is trying to tell you what you should spend your money on. His arrogance is breath-taking.
Exactly what i thought... i feel like he's poking his nose into my private life...
Some of the coments here really make me laugh
Thank's guys, keep them coming

I'm in the same situation as your friend, so i would like to hear what other people have to say aswell...
-
I think your boss is trying to tell you something.
LOL ... i know i put on a few extra pounds since i took the office job, but is none off his business...
-
Why do you need 2 guns as they will both have different weights and possibly different mechanism's....?
I wonder how many PW members have only one gun I'm shooting full bore rifles since i was a teenager, and never had less than 4 or 5 rifles... is just different guns for different purposes.
I do believe owning two different shotguns i reasonable...
Thanks for the advice anyway

Tel the tight **** to stop being a door handle and sort out the £pay rise. Sounds like he's got that deal as a back hander and by offering it to you he's saving a packet.
I'm suspecting this too, as both him and his brother they've got membership at the same gym he was offering me...
-
I was promised a pay raise starting with september, and my boss is telling me he have an offer which i cannot refuse... He said, instead of the pay raise, he will pay me a full membership to the gym, with personal trainer...
I don't know how to take this really... i never said i would like to go to gym, and the personal trainer won't pay my bills ...
What do you guys think?

i'm shooting rifle since 20 years ago... always both eyes open

-
best way is to use a drop line , as you want to keep your crosshair perfectly leveled... a scope spirit level may help aswell
