  1. Calum

    bear or ray

I'd have to say bear grylls! Not afraid of anything and he knows what to eat and drink and he's alot fitter than ray! Plus more badass
  2. Right, Rusts all gone, New spring and pin fitted and a new bead fitted. The button now stays in without cartridges BUT comes back out when the bolt slams forward? Maybe the screw needs tightening a bit more but didn't want to risk it. I'll try it with cartridges and see if that helps? Anyway its better than before and may just need tightening. Can anyone tell me how tight there screw is? Is it as tight as it will go or still easy to move? Thanks
  3. Got the screw out, The metal is so soft its almost like Lead! Springs slightly bent so need another one of those too and hopefully the new screw and spring will do the trick! Also put some of this solution which inhibits rust and converts rust back into metal onto the couple of rust spots.
  4. I would if I could hit anything with it Think I have some work to do on the clays!
  5. It's on my dad's license at the moment, he would take me to get it fixed with him to a RFD
  6. I completely agree, I'll see if I can take it anywhere, Thanks
  7. How do I do this on such a small screw without damaging threads or anything?
  8. After emailing them twice I get no reply...My friend emails them and gets a reply 10 minutes later... Ah well they're sending a screw out. Now has anyone got any idea how to get the old one out? Bare in mind there's no screwdriver slot in there or anything. Thanks
  9. Haha, I take it your not a fan of the hatsan
  10. Fair enough if I had Beretta silver pigeons and Benelli's and the hatsan was my rough gun then I wouldn't care what worked or not. But it's my only gun and I've spent all my money on it and it doesn't even work properly. I probably have some kind of disorder or something haha but hopefully you get what I mean.
  11. It's just annoying that I only just bought it and wanted it all to work, I'd rather have it when I don't need it than need it when I don't have it. Considering I paid for an excellent condition gun.
  12. The threads were messed up before I think, Thats why we put it in a vice as the screw wouldn't go back in. I can't get to the spring because of the screw there is no groove to undo it. I will have to take it to a RFD hopefully they will be able to fix it.
  13. Okay, I noticed the screw was slightly loose so tightened it but the button was either too hard to press it or wouldn't stay in so we removed the screw and the spring looked fine, The threads on the screw had bent through from the screw driver so we had to put the screw in a vice. Then I tried to put the screw back in, and it went in a small amount and got stuck and the head of the screw it completely rounded, There's literally not even a groove to put the scewdriver in. I hope hatsan will fix it if I send it off? Now I'm stuck with a non working button and not a way to fix it :(
  14. Ahh okay, I just don't want to ruin anything or have it not work properly, Also don't like the idea of bodging it with a random spring.
  15. Okay, I'll contact edgar brothers and see if I can get a spare spring, Thanks.
