  1. looks like the site has been compromised, probably a sql injection attack. whoever maintains the board probably just needs to apply the latest security patches. luckily it's just a dodgy PM for now - they coukd have spammed the board up, deleted posts/users etc or worse.

  9. Hi Geordie - Eley do make a 32g no 6 hushpower cartridege and it will recycle better through your remmy. I have tried and have no problems through both of my 1100's (as long as the ports have been opened up) Get you dealer to ring Eley and they will have some regards Graham Thanks Graham, A BBS member has just swapped me two boxes of 32s for two of my 28s so I'll be able to give them a go at the weekend! If they're any good then I'll get either my RFD to order me some, or I'll give these just cartridges folks a go The stock is just the job on the remmy though - here she is in her new clothes ATB, Dan
  10. As title really - I, somewhat naïvely, thought that "subs is subs" when it comes to 12g carts, so I promptly bought the last 6 boxes of Hushpower 28gr 7 1/2s that my RFD had. Now it would appear that all is not quite so straightforward, and that the prev owner of my semi was using 32gr 6s - which would go some way towards explaining my cycling issues Eley don't seem to make them, so does anyone know what the brand of these carts might be, and where could get my grubby mitts on some to try? TIA, Dan
  11. Now sorted - many thanks to Roughshooter
  12. Thanks for that Gun was shipped broken down so obviously the three bits mentioned were free to move about - I just want to know where to shove em before I put the barrel back on again
  13. 'Lo all, I've just picked up a s/h 1100 and I need some info on the correct position for the piston, seal and barrel seal. Looking at the gun with the action to the left and the mag tube end to the right, there's a machined groove (quite wide, about twice width of the o ring) on the right in line with where the gas ports point from the barrel, and a narrower groove nearer the action side. Am I correct in having the barrel o ring in the groove on the right, with the piston seal and piston (both metal split rings) free to slide up and down the tube? Or does one of the split rings need to locate in the leftmost groove? Or should the o ring be in the leftmost groove with nothing in the right, leaving not a lot of sliding space for the gas piston? Any and all help appreciated - I've checked the manualk and all it tells me is that I have the components slid over the tube in the correct order, no reference to anything locating in grooves etc etc Thanks, Dan
  14. Thanks, Zapp I've seen the ads on GT already but thought them overpriced as well - I also have a (waste of time) wanted ad on that site Local RFD is due a few 12g in for about £320 soon, so if nothing pops up before then I'll just have to buy new
