Hi, I am treating myself to a new slip and am stuck with the choice. I have decided on the Croots Byland after reading a lot good reviews on here. However does anyone have any real life photos as I can't decide between oxblood or dark havana.

Totally agree with the beating route first. Last year I joined the beating team on a local shoot. It was great fun but also was a great way to get to know the guns and to understand the drives. I got offered a gun for this season and have had a great time and honestly think it would have been harder had I joined the shoot 'green' without the season of beating.

Just interested in what people's preferences are. Pros and cons if you'd have both. I have a canvas at present but thinking of getting a leather one.

Hi, can anyone recommend a boot jack that is good for leather boots and doesn't mark.

I'm getting married this year and will be stating no presents or cash. I have attended over 30 weddings for friends and family and find it disgusting when people send me a list of presents they want.
I want the people I am inviting to the wedding to come as they are my friends and not because I want something from them. I will even be paying the bar bill as I don't want the night to cost anyone anything.

I've put my shotgun in at the local gun shop for storage whilst moving into a new home. When I did it I still was at my old house and so used my current SGC. Now I have moved and had the inspector round today who signed off my cabinet and gave me my new SGC with the new address. Will I still be able to get my gun from the shop as the address won't match?

Thanks all. My gut was saying oxblood as I thought the havana would just look black. I'll order tomorrow. Graham's of Inverness seems the cheapest online.
