  1. Bought from them since 1997. Always a great service.
  2. I can recommend this company and this beat of the Test. http://www.flyodyssey.co.uk/f-uk-lower-mill-estate.html
  3. I had my 911 for 10 years and changed for an Range Rover Sport. The Porsche was great but unless you're doing track days, which I no longer had time to do as much as I'd like, it's a waste if time where I live as you can't use it.
  4. Try A plan insurance. They reduced my Range Rover sport from £550 with Admiral to £290 with them.
  5. Romeo y Julietta for me but I only have a handful a year. I get them cheaper out in the States when I'm there for Thanksgiving.
  6. Bloody hell. I would have thought you'd have a miss selling claim with the insurance ombudsman, My father was like this and I spent one weekend going through all insurances, utilities , Sky etc and saved him over £1800. He now, like me reviews all policies annually.
  7. £900 is insane. For comparison, I pay under £300 with Legal&General to insure a 3 bed semi for £700k with £150k contents plus separate itemisation for watches, guns, bikes, home emergency response and laptops/ iPhones/iPad cover Also, just had a claim with them which was resolved quickly and I had the cheque within a week.
  8. Aviva or legal and general are both good and very reasonable.
  9. Thanks for the tip on the Leckford. I've just ordered a few as in booked a day on the Test next week. Hope it cools down a bit.
  10. Used villa plus a few times and can't fault the service.
  11. We run a DIY shoot on a farm in Essex. It's 300 acres and we pay £1,600 for rent of the land. This is all year for pigeon shooting if we want it and for the 3 bird pens and then every other Saturday to run the shoot during the season. We rear duck on the ponds and have a shoot cabin on the farm too. We pay the farmer for the cover crop each year and that is £1200. There always a few bottles of good scotch handed over during the season and a hamper for the Mrs at Xmas. The farm has had a shoot on it for over 40 years and so it's more tradition for the farmer than making money.
  12. Don't dismiss the hover boat in the Everglades. We did the trip and everyone thought it was brilliant.
  13. It is hot in July and potential for hurricanes too. Lovely place though. Try and venture off the map as the people in the more remote towns are so welcoming. I spent three weeks on a road trip there s few years back and loved it. Jacksonville in the north east was my favourite beach/bar town.
  14. I've had one of these for a few years and I'd recommend it https://www.roofbox.co.uk/dog-bag/ It also folds up into the rucksack that it comes in.

Very funny. All 6 episodes are available on BBC iPlayer.
  16. No, that is not right at all. During the day my dog is at home but has the run of the house and my girlfriend is in and out all day. Being a bulldog he hates walking but the garden is 120ft and he runs around that every so often. The vet says he is one of the healthiest bulldogs he has ever seen. He does love his crate as a place to retreat too at night but it's not shut. Leaving a cat in a crate all the time is just awe full.
  17. What are people's views regarding a dog or a bitch. For peg/picking up, what are people's preferences?
  18. Does anyone know how long these are taking st the moment. This is the first time I am renewing, so a little unsure of the process. I've printed off the form and am filling it out.
  19. Interested to know what people do if they are staying in hotels with their gun. What security measures to people use?
  20. Keep him on what the breeder was feeding him for a week or two and then move to a good quality feed. My dog has a mix of raw and kibble but not the stuff in the shops. I have used thus company for the past 4 years and the food is excellent. Grain free and hypoallergenic. He has a bowl of this with beef or chicken mince, with chicken heart mixed in. http://www.mymaddog.co.uk/super-premium-hypoallergenic-225-c.asp
  21. Cheers. I'm near Farlows on Thursday so will pop in and try them on.
  22. Thanks for the replies. I agree Red dot, that is my concern regarding the feel of the trigger finger. That is why I was looking at the Sealskinz shooting gloves with the removable trigger finger but I have noted a few comments on searches regarding the magnet causing issues. I have no issues with the Macwets re 'feel', so I may just get some merino liners for them.
  23. Not the best time of the year but I've got some vouchers to use up. I have a pair of macwets which I like but they are not that warm. Does anyone have the sealskinz shooting gloves and would you recommended them?
