The situation over tax pensions benjfits etc. will get worse as more things go online and employment requirements due to the lack of home grown products dries up. We have seen how criminals can fleece the system, how is it done? Is our civil service DWP etc on the ball as we keep hearing of scams of our genourosity almost weekly. We have health care free at point of contact unlike other nations and is paid for by taxation. Go to France pay to see a doctor unless you work for French company (free) basic care for others unless you have insurance it works Dole 2 yrs total employers fined if employing non French nationals no free hsng handouts they come here for that. Pensions here (state) are contributary based NI from company and worker and should be honoured and not be used in general taxation. As said we have no industry in GB to make and export our goods we cannot survive on imports

John, you are correct but one idea is NI number as we all have one and i agree a poll tax or as in France habitation tax everyone pays 650.00Euros average per year don.t know how its done but seems to work

The problem isEU wide not just here and if the Labour or Tory candidates are cancelled and a candidate of the Muslim populace is put forward in every area you could end up with a Muslim majority especially if these candidates grab the Labuor vote and with the vast army of immigrants all over Europe and leaders not knowing or caring brcause of woke failure to address the uncontrolled masses arriving from all corners this could be the start of our democracy on the way out.

OOWEE you keep digging at pensioners did Gordon Brown screw your pension no your on a public sector one All the hype about benifitts The state pension is a contributery one payed every week as NI but you have people on £20k plus having free child care tax credits and once you are on TC.s a raft of other benifits kick in look at the free boiler scheme under £31k and one person on benifits not State Pension lots of people got these boilers so who paid for them?£31k is £600.00 wk so what is a basic income to live in UK these days

I see that Dublin is getting to grips with asylum seekers trying to escape *dangerous* UK as they consider Rwanda as unsafe The Irish Gov. is paying out millions to hotel companies to house these migrants as they consider the UK unsafe to be returned to. Interesting times ahead for Ireland
