  1. How much does the yildiz weigh? The gun weighs 8lb I think. Probably kick a bit but no more than the 10
  2. No I loaded these myself. I'm selling the 10 bore and Mec press and all carts. Just not getting the use anymore. Most the geese were I shoot now are only 30-40yards. Can get them with the 12 bore. Just bought myself a yildiz side by side that's 3.5" steel proof and multi choke so does everything I want to do
  3. They have been up for sale on some Facebook groups. I know there must be just over 3kg of shot there and it's about £70 a kg. I may just empty them and sell the shot. Had an offer for the press and the cartridges together but again it's the postage problem and sending them because of they are explosive. May be a rainy Sunday job cutting open and de priming
  4. These are buffered. Got the 10 bore up for sale though so carts May aswell go to
  5. £2 each! Not a lot considering what's in them
  6. Got about 60 10 bore carts that are 63g 3's in bismuth that I want to sell but nobody seems interested. Would I be better cutting them up and selling the shot or is there not much market for bismuth??
  7. im a member if i can help with anything mate
  8. I haven't been out since on there. I got in the Dee this year so had a trip out there. Got a bad knee and can't walk very far so not sure when I'm going to be able to get out again
  9. For some reason it never notified me of the replies so sorry it's late! No wasn't steel it was bismuth. It's an old zabala 10 bore choked full and full so no steel. I just have to throw gold at them haha. Yeah I was going to go on the rock guessed it would be full on there Kent
  10. If it makes you feel any better Kent we never got a shot off in that spot. Seen 4 good skeins of greylags but only one skein came close enough and even they were close on 70 yards. I had the 10 bore out with 63g 3's but won't be effective at that range so went home without. Lot of teal flying but won't touch them in September
  11. Well at least with all your replays it confirms I bought the right gun. Was gonna go for a maxus but preferred the sx3
  12. Thanks mate, that was gonna be my next question without driving you all mad with questions. Wanted to know how easy it was to strip down and which parts I needed to oil etc. I'm pretty obsessive with gun cleaning so don't want to use wrong stuff or not oil something I should. Sure it will be easy once I done it a few times
  13. Brill, may just put a few boxes of a heavier load through first. Just wanted to know if I was gonna be able to use it for clays aswell though I don't go that often anyway

  15. Was something to do with using some heavier loads first to loosen up the action. Will the 3.5" one cycle 28g clay carts?
  16. Just ordered an sx3, the camo one with 3.5" chamber. its my first semi auto and was reading up on them and it says about breaking it in. Is this essential and how does it affect its use? Is it likely to cycle clay loads?? thanks in advance!
  17. They are on the club website not through basc so that's why I wondered about a member taking you. I know I was expecting to be on a waiting list for at least a few years but can't even get on a list.
  18. Lol when you go on a day ticket do you go with a member?? Would go on a day ticket but don't fancy walking out on a marsh I don't know!
  19. If it wasn't a 3 hour drive away I would. The north west wildfowling clubs are more secretive than the Freemasons haha. Have a couple of day trips on southport marsh and a farmers potato field gets the geese on so will have a few to go on. Just be nice to have something season after season

  21. Dee wildfowlers and lytham got back to me and no places on waiting list for either 😞😞
  22. Yeah I guessed that, Frodsham and the dee wildfowlers have websites so they won't be a problem. I know the others would be
  23. Is it Frodsham wildfowlers that your in??
  24. Yeah I emailed dee wildfowlers a couple of weeks ago aswell but never heard anything back from them at all. The local clubs I can't even find details for. I can go roost shooting in feb and got a bit of rough shooting but my preference is wildfowling. There's nothing quite like getting full of mud and soaking wet in the quest for geese! Haha. That would be very much appreciated if you could get a day ticket and let me tag along for a trip Yeah I emailed dee wildfowlers a couple of weeks ago aswell but never heard anything back from them at all. 25. thanks for all the help guys its much appreciated. will email them and ask if i can be considered without a sponser. Hatsunmad that would be a great help thank you!! the only other clubs close by you need to live in the area to join. I would just like somewhere i can get out wildfowling and still get out there in the close season aswell and do some conservation work to get me out.
