Anyone know why the Gun Shop at Cathill is closed their web site in October said re-opening in November then mid December now January?

Carl Russell & Co Gunmakers at Hatfield Park run courses on specific aspects of gunsmithing stock finishing action work barrel work etc. usually 1 or two day courses may be worth contacting them to see what course they have coming up next and when.

The guy in the suit is Mr.Roy Robson the younger guy Allan (Jock) Lawrie the company is Grant & Lang.

Just found the new gunshop at Hatfield House by accident had no idea it was there they have a great workshop and the shop looks very smart anyone been there?

The film is of Grant & Lang 7 & 8 Bury Street St.James's Mr. Roy Robson is the guy in suit the younger man is Alan Lawrie the workshop was in the basement of the shop the Over and Under being worked on is a Joseph Lang the gun being stocked is a Stephen Grant, Ebenesa Hands is the chequerer he came to Grant & Lang in 1936 when the Grant & Lang bought Watson Bros he continued to work as a stocker until he was 92. The company became Atkin Grant & Lang in 1960. Great company to work for.

Yes all guns are all tractable on the Police National Firearms Database and some have come to light this way but if this is “theft” or a “civil matter” is a bit woolly it seems, you would have thought there is little doubt as some people who lost guns and other goods have reported it as theft many months ago but no action seems to have been taken by the police.

There are a considerable number of guns "missing" that were in Mr. Browns care I hear many have been sold it may be coincidence but The Browns paid off their large mortgage in January 2014. Herts. Police are aware of Mr. Browns record but they are not taking any visible action…………………and they say crime don’t not pay!!!!

I have Mr. Browns home address mobile and home phone number and will gladly provide them to any of the guys who have lost property just let me know how.

The new people at Broomhills are very helpful and professional they have Phil Browns contact details and will help all they can as lots of people have been trying to find their goods. I shot there last week good targets clean and tidy ground nice staff I will shot there again.
