I realised this a year ago and have built a site to do just this. Turned out to be much more complex that I originally thought it would as clubs all operate slightly differently etc. Anyway finally launched it this year, just beta testing with my local club at the moment but hoping to start attracting more clubs to join now. I like twitter but you would struggle with the scores on twitter only allowing 140 characters and they get lost in the other streams of people you follow. Anyway more importantly do I have a new glass for my cabinet? ... Doubt it!

A Facebook page would make sense
