Interesting rifle and cartridge used in that film the .408 cheytac, the best of both worlds apparently speed and accuracy of a .338 lap with twice the energy.
Yeah quite a shot from a boat that no supports or bipod etc, it is a good film, that bit with him in the snow vs 3 other snipers, wouldnt liked to of been the guy
with the steel plate on ouch.

Job I work at director uses all these sayings IN BOLD on his emails I'll tell him to keep his euro babble to himself I think

On it like a car bonnet?, not out of the woods yet (what woods??), damned if they do damned if they dont arrggghh that last one I hate the most
Do like the odd American one though dumb as a box of rocks lol etc
They have lost their meanings since so many people say them and fern 01 agree with you there mate empty words they sound to me robotic
when they come out with that one.
If I was PM straight after making handguns legal again, s. auto centrefires and sec1 shotguns back onto sec2, would be to curtail their use a bit somehow.

Well went into couple of RFD's and outdoor stores locally had a look at some of the ones from you all suggested, look very nice some of them and fit well.
Just trying to decide between a few of them, Does anyone on here have an ECWS jacket?,
Its the one I haven't been able to find in a store to try on looking at the black or olive green ones.
Got some good reviews off amazon and other sites from what I have been reading.

got a baikal mp153 much better than hatsan escort IMO and for a 3.5" s/auto weight is just right feels solid. decent s/auto for under £600 new my budget couldnt stretch to benelli etc
has anyone on here got a fac version with a extended mag tube I have heard you can use benelli/remington ones with some adjustments?
-
I will have a look at them all thanks for your advice nice one , trying to avoid the wax ones not my thing.
just bought a pair of macwets from my local rfd was going to get sealskinz, just need decent coat now
-
does anyone in the north west area own a supernova on here ?, would like to have a go on some clays see how they are.
-
Evening all.
Just in market for a new coat for shooting (clays/target/vermin control) all weathers, any suggestions been told about the m65 field jackets but looking for opinions on everything and where to buy from thanks
-
its true doesnt come back unfortunately, just have to take a look at these old guns review uk mags my dad gave me to see what used to be legal and quite a popular side of the sport.
agree with you there gingercat, wouldnt mind an air pistol when funds allow . I dont slag them off neither, we all like shooting sports it should be unity all round
-
would anyone recommend one of these I know a lot use these for psg but what about for pigeon/vermin use and the odd clay day?
anyone got one in timber camo I have used a 28" p/action before, a lot off other forums recommending 26" barrel for all uses. a dealer
near me has them on offer for £589 very tempting
-
been there a few times to the states, they have their NRA and others lobbying all the time protecting the 2nd amendment.
I went to a bass pro few years back got to handle some right hand cannons .44 blackhawk, 500 S&W. did have to have a look at the glock 17 and colt 1911 2 I would buy if I lived over there
well I havent been shooting as long as some of you but I have noticed that as well Imperfection we arent unified or accept other peoples likes for different areas of the sport. some just stick to their patch
of the sport and thats it.
shame with non shooters their views quite few of them are formed via the media, people on tv who come on who have no clue about any kind of shooting sport or even handled a sporting firearm before
then spout off a load of tosh a certain ex pat living in the usa think the word indoctrination comes to mind really. I have to work with an anti at work who just thinks police & the mil.
should have em all. I just let her waffle on with herself once told her I was doing a ratting job on a farm with air rifle once she had a right moan. well got a load of them and told her week after
-
that they do, wonder if that baseball cap would be legal over here? just a cap made out of different material. id take that unbreakable (apparently) umbrella just a regular umbrella
I believe there is an importer of the chiappa triple threat (20" barrel) or the triple crown (28" barrel) over here. wouldnt like to fire 3 slugs out of it
-
I started out on clays using o/u still do now and again use a semi as main clay gun baikal mp153 £570 new and made in russia nice recoil pad on them. We all like different things some semi's are good for some and not for others.
I couldnt get on with a hatsan escort felt too light and that new loading system they have I dont like but other people like em. think the extra shots help on fields vermin/pigeons/corvids etc and for those doing psg
-
well ive got some hobnobs in just couldnt find them lol, I'll also got some homemade cake for good measure
cheers alan , just havent shot that much with pistol caliber's .38/.357 or .44 they look little complicated to strip and clean those lever actions.
in couple of years or when ive got the ££ would like to go for a ww2 b/action rifle of some kind enfield, mauser or a nagant shot the first 2 but no one at my clubs got a mosin
ah right ok cheers andrew, yeah it is for now going to try for some land next year at some point.

Evening all
Just got my feo over the weekend for fac interview already hold an sgc, I'm currently member of local rifle club passed my probation back in September.
Applied for 2 x .22lr, a .223, a .308 and some black powder rifles. Put down for competitions as well so I can shoot in all the different types gallery etc.
Any advice off you all is appreciated is it just more in depth interview than sgc, going to get the rich tea and coffee/tea out for them. I've put down for what I've shot at the club
and been using my friends rifles was going to put for a .38/.357 but not a fan of lever actions really

oh aye, so changed it did they I went on that did miss a couple, ah right didnt know about them theres a really fast rabbit on the far right side with a going away bird tough one that, constantly changing.
yeah ok mate nice one, sounds like a plan to me i finish for my hols on dec 13th so ill be either on clays, range or some form of shooting till I go back to work
-
these fast clay loads- hull superfasts & rios ok for pigeons and crows like?. cheers magman ill give him a ring thanks
-
ah right never been up worsley that time always go round lunch time, 100 in an hr nice work . I didnt see mikky Ill be going next sunday arrange to meet up then?.
for a change I brought enough carts.theres a good one edge of the grounds 1 crossing from right and 1 incoming. kind of got hooked on the incoming clays
-
very nice like it bottom ejecting as well, I was offered a stevens pump other week at a clay grounds I go to for about £125 ish but turned it down went for the 500 instead
-
wont be trying 65mm through mine then heard the 870,benelli supernova & rare browning bps are the only ones that will cycle the small carts. dont know any autos that cycle them reliably?.
wanting to try some rio 20's through my 500 see how they perform. was tempted by local dealers 870 but its the express model and im after getting my fac sorted more than another pump
does anyone here have a browning bps?
-
Evening all, does anyone know of an RFD in north west area who sells the above cartridges just like to try some out, hear they are good never used them before.
-

yep agree with all the above posts good advice, if you can get hold of one get either an ammo safe or normal safe for valuables rather than a gun safe with locking top
bigger the better as this should help when you put your fac application in for good allowance limits / possession on ammunition.
