I think you can get bits off fea bay
-
Is that with brass cases
You used to do that with paper cases
-
What powder you after
-
Siarm will post primed cases I only get the cheap 65mm and the 76 or 73mm they good cases
The noble red cases and they do some green case that are not bad
Don't buy shot off them the post gets a bit high
-
have used steel for clays but my guns are steel proofed
I have been told that steel home loads are better that shop loaded ammo
But that I don't know
-
You can load 410 brass cases or use 444 marlin brass
But you can only get primers if you have a fac
There is some thing on the net that they glue a over shot card on top
Of the shot to finish the load
-
1.60grams of A1
-
Get a jap 4x4 a lot better
-
Only loaded lead shot I was thinking of loading steel for clays in 20 bore
But never have I load with plastic and fibre wads in 20
But only fibre in 410
Can you load steel in 410 not seen any data for it
-
Yes that's what I think the same with powder
I have some us data that load 410 with longshot powder
Steel shot with blue dot and herco
And many more
And if you look on lee loadall data
It tells you the shot weight powder type bush no
One for plastic shells with paper base wad
One for plastic shells with plastic base wad
It's got that federal 209A primers are high energy use a bush one size smaller

Looks good

I had a Toyota hilux m6 that was a. C or D had it for 5 years great motor
It was 2 years old when I got it
When I did a px on it I lost loads of cash on it as it was a C or D
-
Yer there is gastight in it
And the 410 buck shot loads were AAA only not BB as I said
+20g /16g / 12g buck shot loads
-
Ok I get what you arer saying
But load data should state primers
In a list hot / mild
Like they do on a powder burn rate
-
Did you make all the bits or buy them
-
I have the same with by hatsan. Put a laser bore site in it
The aim point where I was looking was way off from the laser dot at 25 / 30 yards
So I changed the stock shims to correct this
So now the laser dot and where I aim are the same
I find I hit more now
So I test all my guns in the same way now

Just been reading about primers in a load data book
It goes on about fitting magnum primers in cold weather
So it's all down to when you want to shoot
-
That looks good what cost is it to make the shot I hear that you can make small shot better than bigger size
Is that true
-
2400 is good with 3/4 and 1/2 loads
Also used psb2 + a1 powder
I load 21/2 inch 1/2 oz loads most in 7 shot
And a few 76mm or 73mm. + I roll turnover most
I did crlmp some but they don't turn out that good
Very flat on the edges they look like a 50p shape
-
I have a old eley book from 1950s may be 60s
In that you could get 410 in BBs. And I think AAA
-
I would be up for that but to far away for me but good offer
-
Lot of data us data with cci and winchester primers in 410
Lee data dont say what primer to use
-
It's all down to what powder you can get in the local gun shops
-
You did ok there mate
I had some 12g ammo from the USSR a few years back
Don't know the make they were a pink case very loud but
Would not load my old semi auto
Don't think you can get 410 in no4 shot now
