It’s a sad state of affairs when guns are offered at this price. Trouble is, the trade will have offered nothing as they just don’t want them.
-
Make it a 50 birder for £25 then £20 for re-entry. Scrounge £100 from an appropriate sponsor for the high gun (Greenfields, Sportarm, Sportsman) which will guarantee the attendance of the local pot hunters - Richard King, Paul Thomas etc.
You could buy trophies for the rest of the prizes and go as far as you want - ladies, juniors. You can’t afford cash prizes for many places so why bother? People are happy to win something rather than nothing at all.Make sure it is safe and don’t make it too hard, you want at least half of those who buy a card to shoot a re-entry. Post it on social media and put a poster in Greenfields, Matt won’t object.
Best of luck and I’ll see you there.

I have it on good authority that the average margin to the manufacturer on a new Range Rover is £45K. Although I expect by the time warranty claims have been met its down to about half that.

I have a pair of Swift 8x42 which must be 25 years old. They live in the front window so I can spot birds and general happenings..I also keep a pair of Swarovski 10x40 in the car and the quality is excellent as you would expect

Really? So they have unlimited entries?
-
Last I heard its nearly full!

A good buy. Make them last!

I would suggest, very few, however I can recall seeing a lot of skeet shooters here. Mostly shooting finely tuned Beretta 391's.
Olympic or English skeet?

A lot of Americans !
That’s certainly the case but I wonder how many of them shoot trap over here?
-
I doubt if it will have any effect whatsoever. How many people use autos for trap? Same with Olympic skeet

Only a Yorkshireman would ask that question

I expect the powder will easily absorb moisture. Funny how it’s not the same when it’s dried out though

Had an A6 Allroad 3.0tdi for a couple of years. It’s a really good car in all kinds of circumstances. It will cruise all day on the autoroute and autobahn, once took it up to 140mph for ages in Germany and it was a doddle. Luggage capacity is huge and it will go off road surprisingly well if you’re careful. Find an Audi specialist for servicing and it’s a great package for shooting, fishing and carting the family around too. Swapped mine for a Disco 4 and was sad to see it go.

I have found that if cartridges get damp in storage, despite drying them out as best you can - airing cupboard etc. they do not perform as they should and leave massive amounts of unburnt powder in the barrels. Old cartridges aren’t a problem it’s the storage conditions that matter.

A by election in Ashfield would soon show how much support he has. Perhaps it’s only a matter of time before he goes across to the Liberals - he’s been everywhere else

Whoever worked that theory out ?! 😂
I seem to remember them being advertised with this claim a long time ago.

Is it true they will survive going through an elephant twice?

I have one of the latest style Browning Opaline cases if that’s any good. Same as the one that comes with the XS Pro and Heritage models
Thanks for that but I've found one locally and it should do the job. Thanks again

They are lovely cars. Just keep a grand to one side somewhere in case the worst happens. I had one and did 60k miles with no trouble at all.
