  1. yes m8 he does do the same with pigeons there easier to do than crows.i can remember when he first did the pigeon when we first started shooting 28 years ago lol we have had a lot of good shooting due to the decoys being real birds and they last for years if you look after them you have to be more careful when putting them away but its worth it
  2. scooterboy they should do you made them lol keep em coming
  3. I got the outlander as well mate I love it
  4. I must admit lads that the decoys I use are real birds (dead) but a friend of mine pulls all the insides out of the bird scrapes all the ribcage clean of flesh the uses something that taxidermist use to preserve them and then sets them to shape, then after 5 weeks fill them with expanding foam.i know it sounds complicated but its easy really we did 6 last night in about 3hours but they will last for years,i will post some pics of them, and believe me there that good I can let them land with the decoys if I wanted to,i was sat behind the hide and blew on my crow call only to scare a crow up that was walking between the deeks lol
  5. thanks lads it was a nice day wind straight on my back, but had sun in my eyes all morning.the dog is my patterdale she goes everywhere with me, and the field was deceiving as I found out when I was going home it was ok round the edges but as I walked across it to go home it went from firm to SINKING LOL
  6. 4 hours 22 crows and a happy farmer, shot with my berretta a300 outlander
  7. lol ive put picture on another post I was struggling to load the picture up because of the size of it and I didn't know how to do it at last I think ive done it
  8. ive done it pal thanks it was a cracking day
  9. yes m8 love it I would have put the photos on but it says the size of the photos are two big
  10. went out with my new semi auto beretta a300 outlander to produce these 50 pigeon
  11. 2nd time out with my new beretta A300
  12. I went over budget lol and bought a new one in wood im out in the morning with it for a few hours mainly doing a recky on the land as im going up with my m8 on Tuesday to decoy pigeon and crow
  13. hi I ended up getting the beretta A300 outlander 30in barrel what a gun this is, went pigeon shooting other day with my m8 12 shots 10 crows and then 14 pigeon to follow, not only was I shooting really really well I was knocking the pigeon down at well over 45,50 yards which for me was GREAT the gun fits me perfectly its also not as heavy as I thought an auto would be it come with a half choke,im used to using skeet lol when im decoying probably why I was knocking them down at that distance, ive been using game bore clear pigeon 32g 6 cycle beautifully then I tried 32g 6 Fiocchi pigeon cartridges these cycle the same cant wait till Monday see how it performs again I just cant get enough of shooting this gun although finding the empty cartridges at the end of the day is a pain lol so it gets a 10/10 from me if anyone is thinking of getting one
  14. what crow call are you using pal
  15. cheers m8 nice to know that, ive been out with it and love it 2nd shot dropped a woodie what really bothering me is cleaning it properly I only cleaned the barrels out when I got back its my first auto so not familiar with the parts altho when you strip it theres only about four parts to it.i will take it yearly to gunsmiths for a full service
