You can get an extractor socket has a sharp internal thread on the inside.it should bite through the shroud on the outside of the locking wheel nut. I have used one when I lost the adaptor.

If you buy a new rifle you will know exactly what it has done and you can get a decent deal if you shop around the howas look pretty good for the money.having said that I have an old BSA .222 that's still a great gun and very accurate.

My son and I share centrefire rifles up .22 and .308 we now live in separate houses with separate cabinets who ever is using rifle next keeps it.flo says he prefers this because there are less rifles owned
